Arjun Makam, DO FACC, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist and a partner physician of Makam Medical in Anaheim, California. Following this, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Southern California and continued on as Chief resident of the program. His training aspiriations then took him to New Orleans, Louisiana where he completed fellowship in Cardiovascular disease at the John Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute, where he also served as Chief fellow of the program. He then returned to California to complete his training at Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center, where he completed advanced fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology.
As a physician who strives to provide exceptional patient experiences, Dr. Makam can speak English, Spanish, and Telugu, and comfortably work with patients’ complex needs. With Anaheim being a central city attracting people from all around the world, he enjoys working with diverse patients of all backgrounds and ages.
Along with his board certifications, he has also completed his supervisor and operator certificate in fluoroscopy through the California Department of Public Health.
