Kristine is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist specializing in working with adults. Kristine spent the first 8 years of her career working in a community mental health agency with the severely mentally ill who were at risk of homelessness, incarceration, and psychiatric hospitalization. The second half of her career has been helping individuals with depression and anxiety understand the root causes of their symptoms and heal from them. Kristine has been using Internal Family Systems informed techniques to help clients understand themselves, and their needs, and to heal the developmental gap that has prevented them from nurturing themselves. She is more like a coach who coaches the clients how to love and nurture themselves. She also offers Christian-based counseling to bring in prayer and spirituality for clients if that is their preference.
