Dr. Mukesh Sinha is a native Houstonian and completed his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University in 2000. He is a 2004 graduate of The University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX. After his graduation, he relocated to Rochester, Minnesota, where he received his training in Internal Medicine at the internationally renowned Mayo Clinic. He remained at Mayo Clinic to complete his fellowship in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension. During his fellowship he published several manuscripts and was appointed as Instructor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine. He was honored with the Clinical Fellow of the Year Award for academic year 2009-2010. He joined Renal Clinic of Houston in 2010.
Dr. Sinha has his medical license in Minnesota and Texas. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, American Society of Nephrology and Renal Physicians Association.

Dr. Krishna Raman is a senior partner of the Renal Clinic of Houston (RCH). He became a practicing Nephrologist at Renal Clinic of Houston in 2002. Dr. Raman is a graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, which is among the top 10 medical schools in India. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Delhi in 1989. He then completed his residency in the State University of New York at Buffalo in Internal Medicine from 1993-1995. He was a Chief Resident in the State University of New York at Buffalo from 1995-1998. He then joined Internal Medicine Practice in Rural Western NY State from 1996-2000. After 4 years of practicing Internal Medicine, Dr. Raman completed his fellowship at Loyola University Medical and the VA Hospital in Chicago, IL from July of 2000 to June 2002.

Dr. Sheetal Golla completed her medical school at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia in 2003. After graduation, she relocated to Chicago, Illinois where she received her training in Internal Medicine at Rush University Medical Center. She subsequently completed her fellowship in the Section of Nephrology at Rush University Medical Center, where she published her work on Lupus Nephritis based on the MDRD estimated GFR under Dr Edmund J. Lewis and Dr Steven Korbet. Dr Golla was in private practice for a couple of years in Chicago until she moved to Houston, Texas with her husband. She joined Renal Clinic of Houston in April 2014. She is also a member of the American Society of Nephrology.

Dr. Shalin Patel, MD, is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine as a Diplomate in nephrology. He joined Renal Clinic of Houston in Katy, Memorial City, and North Cypress, Texas, in 2008. He is currently practicing out of Katy, Memorial and Sealy, Texas.
Although he was not born in Texas, Dr. Patel moved to Houston when he was quite young and considers Houston his hometown. After graduating from Westfield High School up in the north part of Houston, he received his undergraduate degree in biology from Tulane University.
He subsequently returned back to Texas and went to medical school at the University of Texas medical school at Galveston. After completing school, Dr. Patel went up to Chicago and trained at Northwestern University, where he completed both his internal medicine residency and fellowship in nephrology.
Dr. Patel remains an active medical staff member at several of the hospitals he practices at. In addition, over the years, he has truly enjoyed mentoring students, as evidenced by the multiple teaching awards he received as a resident. He was one of two physicians to receive the 2005 fellow of the year award at Northwestern University, as nominated by his peers, for his passion and dedication to teaching. He continues to mentor students when his schedule allows for.
Outside of work, he remains a huge fan of football and basketball. He also enjoys reading and watching movies to help unwind after a long work day.

Dr. Alicia Romero is a Spanish – English bilingual native of Venezuela. She completed her medical school at the University of Zulia in Venezuela in 2001. After her graduation, she relocated to Galveston, Texas, where she received her training in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch. She completed her fellowship in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at the University of Texas at Houston. During her fellowship she published several manuscripts. She joined Renal Clinic of Houston in October 2012.
Dr. Romero has her medical license in Texas and she is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians and American Society of Nephrology.
