Medical College in India before going on to Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio to complete an Internal Medicine residency followed by neurology residencies at Loyola Medical Center in Chicago and the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Following completion of his residencies, Dr. Pawar completed Fellowships in Vascular Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania, Endovascular Neurosurgery and Interventional Radiology at Abington Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania, and Advanced Vascular Neurology at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is coming to us from Duke University Medical Center where he served as Stroke Medical Director. He is widely published. He has varied interests and has participated in multiple clinical trials.

Dr. Maniar received his medical degree from the University of Bombay in India. Since completing his neurology residency and fellowship in neuromuscular disorder at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, he has been serving the community in South Florida.

Dr. Pahlavanzadeh received her medical degree from the University of Kerman School of Medicine. After receiving her medical degree, Dr. Pahlavanzadeh went on to complete her neurology residency at Virginia Tech Carilion and epilepsy fellowship at the University of Florida School of Medicine.

Ivan Mikolaenko, MD, is a neurologist who completed medical school in Ukraine. He was a post-doctoral Fellow in Neurology at John’s Hopkins School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD. He finished his neurology residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Following that, he completed a Neuro Critical Care Fellowship, Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia.
Dr. Mikolaenko is well versed in EMG NCS as well as reading EEG’s. He’s an experienced and diligent physician who’s proficient in many neurological disorders.
He has practiced for many years in New York and looks forward to serving the South Florida community.
Dr. Georgy Cherkassky is a board-certified neurologist with comprehensive training and experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological conditions. Following his undergraduate major in Psychology at New York's Hunter College, he earned his medical degree from SABA University School of Medicine, followed by a neurology residency at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where he also completed an advanced fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology. Dr. Cherkassky is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has a strong clinical background in vascular neurology that includes practicing in New Jersey before relocating to Florida. Dr. Hylton is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in Clinical Neuropsychology. She graduated from the University of Florida with a double major in Psychology and Criminology and went on to study at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, with emphasis in Forensic Psychology. While enduring her graduate studies, she discovered a fascination with the inner workings of the brain and its overall effects. With this interest, Dr. Hylton continued to build the foundation of her training with specialization in neuropsychology, study of the brain and the nervous system’s influence on an individual’s cognition and behavior. She has broad experience in the field of psychology such as specialized psychotherapy for those suffering traumas and experience providing individual and group Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), administering psychological evaluations to children and/or parents for guardianship, as well as research. Dr. Hylton specializes in neuropsychological evaluation and testing.
Sussel Vega Pupo, APRN began her career in medicine as an LPN before going on to receive her BSN. As a RN she worked as a charge nurse in the neuro intensive care unit as well as a critical care nurse before receiving her MSN from Florida National University. Sussel takes pride in providing the highest level of care to all patients.
Dr. Giovanna Basilio is a bilingual (English/Spanish) clinician. She received her PsyD in Clinical Psychology with a forensic concentration at Nova Southeastern University in South Florida. She has broad clinical experience with minors, adults, and older adults across correctional, community, and healthcare sites. She has also contributed to the development of competency restoration programs in Broward and Palm Beach Counties and published a Springer book chapter on cultural considerations in sex trafficking.
Her research interests include potentially traumatic events across immigrant and non-immigrant populations, best practices for assessment and treatment, and severe mental illness in diverse settings. Dr. Basilio specializes in psychological evaluations and trauma-informed therapy.
