Dr. Inga Zilberstein, MD, PLLC, is an obstetrician and gynecologist in New York City. She has been practicing on the Upper East Side of Manhattan for over 30 years and offers caring expertise and individual attention to each of her patients.

Dr. Kameelah Phillips is a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, wife, mother, and lifelong women’s health advocate. Since high school, she has been involved in local, national, and international organizations aimed at advancing women’s health care issues through advocacy and direct patient care. Dr. Phillips graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Human Biology with an emphasis in Women’s Health and Human Sexuality. After graduation, she worked at the San Francisco Department of Public Health in the AIDS office as a Research Assistant on HIV vaccine studies. She relocated to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine.​ During medical school, she received numerous community service awards. She was privileged to travel to Ghana, Cuba, and Tanzania on health missions during this time. Upon completion of medical school, she attended a competitive OB/GYN residency at the New York University School of Medicine.

Dr. Adam Romoff is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist who has been in practice since 1980.

He graduated from the City College of New York and then went on to medical school at the University of Connecticut. He did a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Dr. Romoff is the former Associate Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital. He has also held the position of Director of Residency Education.

He has published a review of shoulder dystocia and a review of lymph node involvement in cervical cancer. He is the author of the book, Estrogen How and Why It Can Save Your Life. He is currently working on a book on the improvements in women's health care.

Dr. Romoff has taught generations of residents, including Dr. Wu. He continues to enjoy being a specialist in menopausal health, while also delivering babies.

Joan Berman, MD, has been providing personalized, compassionate gynecological care to patients in New York City for over 25 years. At her practice in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, Dr. Berman and her knowledgeable staff take pride in cultivating long-standing relationships with many patients while welcoming new ones.

Dr. Berman’s diverse medical experience includes a two-year training program in sex therapy and over 20 years consulting for Columbia University’s Student Health Center.  She believes these experiences give her a unique insight into treating and addressing complex issues many women find difficult to discuss. Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Dr. Berman’s medical career began with academic excellence in her hometown. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona, where she was a Baird Scholar and inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies.

After earning her medical degree from the University of Arizona, Dr. Berman worked in a research laboratory, volunteered at a diabetes clinic on the Papago Reservation, and served with a surgical team in Papua New Guinea. She then chose to do her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City where she maintains privileges and is an Assistant Clinical Professor.

Dr. Berman is committed to keeping up with modern advances in medicine and regularly attends conferences for continuing education. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and gynecology. Every year she takes an exam to maintain her Board certification. She is also a member of the North American Menopause Society and will be a certified Menopause practitioner.

Nargiza Gapparova is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in gynecology and women’s health. She earned her master’s degree in science at the Long Island University in 2021. Ms. Gapparova provides the best and most gentle care to women of all ages. Under the supervision of board-certified gynecologist, Dr. Apig J. Mosses, Ms. Gapparova offers an array of services ranging from annual GYN exams, abnormal pap smears, sexually transmitted diseases, urinary tract infections, and much more. Daniel F. Roshan, MD, FACOG, FACS, specializes in maternal-fetal medicine, demonstrating an expertise in high-risk pregnancies that’s well known in New York City and beyond, as women needing chorionic villus sampling are referred to him from across the country. Dr. Roshan specializes in recurrent pregnancy losses, preterm labor, multiple pregnancies, thrombophilia and pregnancy, and performing cerclage procedures. He also offers experienced medical care for women faced with chronic disease during pregnancy.

After receiving his medical degree from Tel Aviv University, Dr. Roshan then received residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn and completed a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He’s board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Roshan stays active as a member of many professional organizations, including Johns Hopkins Medical and Surgical Society, Johns Hopkins Howard Kelly Society, the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the American Society for Human Genetics, the Society for Gynecologic Investigation, Bellevue OB/GYN Society, and the New York Obstetrics Society. Dr. Roshan has published over 50 research abstracts and presented original research papers at numerous scientific societies such as: The Society for Gynecological Investigation, the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine.

Ellen received her undergraduate degree in molecular biology from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. She earned her masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY.

Upon completing a post graduate Emergency Department Fellowship, she transitioned into OBGYN to follow her passion for Obstetrics and Women's Health. She places emphasis on health education, preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment of women to have a positive impact on their lives.

Ellen is originally from Upstate New York. In her free time she enjoys playing field hockey, hiking, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family.

Shira Plonka is a board certified Genetic Counselor at ROSH Maternal Fetal Medicine. Additionally, she is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC); she earned her Master of Science in Human Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College. Prior to receiving her master’s, Shira received an honors degree in psychology and social work from University of Waterloo. Shira has held internships in many of New York City’s top hospitals, acquiring a broad exposure to many disciplines and specialties, including cancer and pediatric genetics. 

Shira focuses on preconception and prenatal genetic counseling: carrier screening, prenatal genetic screening and diagnostic testing. She provides information about the risks of chromosome abnormalities, birth defects, genetic conditions, and teratogen exposure to individuals, couples or families. Shira is committed to informing patients about potential genetic risks, enabling them to make informed decisions for a current or future pregnancy in a supportive and non-directive environment. Dr. John Migotsky is a Board-certified OB/GYN, and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  He comes to ROSH Maternal-Fetal medicine with 16 years of experience.  After graduating from Brown University with a degree in neuroscience, Dr. Migotsky conducted research in maternal/child health and perinatal epidemiology with the Rhode Island Department of Health.  He received his medical degree at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.  Then he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY.  Prior to his work with ROSH, he worked in private practice in Westchester, NY and was affiliated with Greenwich Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital.

Dr. John Migotsky is committed to providing high-quality care to patients by listening to their concerns, addressing their needs and providing insightful remedies and recommendations.  He has delivered thousands of babies including many vaginal births after Cesarean section (VBAC).  His team approach encompasses gynecologic oncology, infertility and urogynecology.  In addition, he has comprehensive experience performing gynecologic surgery.  His warm and sensitive care insures a successful outcome. 

Dr. Marjon Mobasseri grew up in Ohio and graduated from Case Western Reserve University where she studied Biomedical Engineering. She earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine, after which she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Brooklyn Hospital Center.

In addition to providing the full range of obstetric and gynecologic services, Dr. Mobasseri is active in research and community wellness projects. With each patient visit she strives to provide an environment of comfort and cooperation, and she looks forward to delivering optimal care to you.

In her free time, Dr. Mobasseri enjoys spending time with family and traveling. In addition to English, she is fluent in Persian.

Dr. Radoslav Jovanovic, founder of the Manhattan Laser Center for Vein Treatment, is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been treating women and men on the Upper East Side for over 30 years.

His intensive training in phlebology, ultrasound, and laser therapy gives him the unique ability to completely understand the causes and treatments of all types of vascular disease, in all areas of the body. He brings considerable warmth and understanding to every patient’s care.

Dr. Jovanovic graduated from the University of Belgrade in Serbia, Yugoslavia. After emigrating from Serbia in the late 1960s, he completed his training at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Dr. Kevin Jovanovic, a board-certified surgeon in Obstetrics and Gynecology, is trained in the newest and most advanced laparoscopy and hysteroscopy surgical techniques. Laparoscopy has transformed gynecology, cutting recovery time and eliminating much of the pain associated with traditional gynecological surgery. As a testament to his expertise, Dr. Jovanovic received Yale University's Outstanding Laparoscopic Surgeon Award in 2004. In addition, he has been exceptionally trained in high-risk obstetrics, infertility, chronic pelvic pain, and urogynecology (treating incontinence). He was recently appointed as an Associate Professor of Obstetrics/Gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Dr. Jovanovic’s interest in women’s health led to his completing the prestigious Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute fellowship in Beverly Hills, California with Dr. David Matlock. He has since founded the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of New York City. Vaginal rejuvenation is a rapidly growing field within gynecology. Women are seeking answers to help them restore or maintain good sexual function, and with today’s modern medical technology, Dr. Jovanovic provides answers and options in this specialization.

Dr. Jovanovic is not only specialized in obstetrics and gynecology -- he has received extensive post-graduate training in Cosmetic Surgery including Tumescent Liposuction, Botox/Filler, Laser Hair and Vein Removal, and Sclerotherapy. In 2006, he received the 2006 Top Plastic Surgeons Award in the field of cosmetic surgery.

He completed four years of training at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT, where he helped run the Yale University Women’s Center, which serves over 35,000 patients a year. He graduated with honors from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York.

Anna Barbieri, MD, is a double board-certified gynecologist and integrative medicine physician, as well as a specialist in menopause medicine. In her New York City practice located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, her passion is truly personalized, modern holistic care of women. In her spare time, Dr. Barbieri loves to spend time with her family, her dog Remy, hike, grow tomatoes, and listen to music. Her favorite musical artist is Freddie Mercury.
