She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Cross has a passion for women’s health that extends beyond the exam room. She has been featured on multiple media platforms for her expertise in patient education and her commitment to empowering women with the knowledge and resources they need to make informed healthcare decisions.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Mehls earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, where she gained extensive experience in prenatal care, labor and delivery, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and preventive women’s health services.
