Sanjai Jalaj, MD, recently joined Marano Eye Care, having completed a fellowship in corneal disease and refractive surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute. He diagnoses and treats patients in Denville, Livingston, and Newark, New Jersey. Jonathan Gloth, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and retinal surgery specialist practicing at InVision EyeCare. He specializes in the treatment of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular occlusions, and uveitis.

Dr. Gloth graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University in New Jersey. He also received the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence (awarded to students with a 4.0 grade-point average). He then graduated from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he was inducted into the national medical honors society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Ragam graduated summa cum laude from The College of New Jersey. She was accepted to the competitive, accelerated, seven-year BS/MD program at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where she finished at the top of her class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She then completed an ophthalmology residency as well as corneal subspecialty fellowship at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York City. She was selected by her peers and mentors to become Chief Resident. 

Both Dr. Ragam and her husband, an orthopaedic hand surgeon, are New Jersey natives and looked forward to returning home after training to grow their practices and raise their two sons.
