Dr. Mary Mekhael was born and raised in West Los Angeles, California. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular & Molecular Biology at California State University - Dominguez Hills and received her doctorate degree at Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University.
She has experience in various practice settings, including multi-practice ophthalmology settings, general optometric clinic settings, VA Hospital settings, and specialty clinic settings. Her experience includes pre- and post-operative care, dry eyes, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, amblyopia, double vision, pediatric care, and specialty contact lenses. She is board certified with the most advanced optometric credentials in California to treat glaucoma. She is fluent in Arabic and speaks elemental Spanish.
Outside of the office, Dr. Mekhael enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, hiking, going to the beach, painting, and cooking a variety of cuisines, including Asian, Mediterranean, and Spanish dishes.
Tram Ho, OD, is a board-certified optometrist on the team of dedicated providers at Astorino & Associates Eye Center. Dr. Ho sees her patients at the office in Newport Beach, California.
Dr. Ho graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton. She stays up to date with all of the latest trends and developments in eye care through her professional memberships in the California Optometry Association and the Asian American Optometry Association.
Dr. Ho has deep clinical experience in diagnosing and treating eye disease and fitting specialty contact lenses for multifocal needs and astigmatism; she also helps to perform cataract surgeries and LASIK. Dr. Ho is fluent in English, Vietnamese, and Spanish.
With a passion for using her skills to give back to those in need, Dr. Ho has completed humanitarian mission trips to Baja California in Mexico, El Salvador, and Kenya. Through these trips, she is able to provide eye care for underprivileged populations.

Siuchi Suen, O.D. is a therapeutic and glaucoma certified optometrist who provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. Her experience includes diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions, including refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism), amblyopia, dry eye, red eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Suen is a proud alumna from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology and a minor in East Asian Studies. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2010 from the University of California Berkeley with recognition by the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. Dr. Suen is excited to join the team at OC Eye Associates. Her mission is to connect, communicate and work collaboratively with her patients to ensure her patients achieve their best visual potential.
Lindy H. Hoang, O.D. is a Board Certified optometrist. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry (NECO) and has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of California, Riverside. She has completed several externships throughout the greater area of Boston, Massachusetts, including the Joslin Diabetes Center, Veterans Affairs Brockton, and various community health centers and private practices. Dr. Hoang strives to provide quality, comprehensive eye care and contact lens services for all her patients.
Rheela Kim, O.D. was born and raised in San Diego, California. She received her B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine. After graduating, she began a career in hospitality before realizing her true passion lies in serving patients through healthcare. Dr. Kim went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with honors as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.
Dr. Brandon Chuang grew up in Irvine, CA before attending University of California San Diego. He graduated with a BS in Biology in 2013. He then earned his Doctorate of Optometry from New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA in 2018.
After graduation, he pursued a residency in ocular disease and primary care at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital of Brockton, Massachusetts. At his residency, he worked closely with world renowned ophthalmologists, comanaging glaucoma, dry eye, uveitis, cataracts, and retinal diseases like macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. After finishing residency, Dr. Chuang returned to his alma mater as a professor, where he worked as faculty training future optometrists for 2 years before returning to Orange County.
Dr. Chuang has been described as a compassionate eyecare provider who is committed to high quality patient care. His specialty is glaucoma, but he considers himself a jack of all trades given his various clinical experiences. He also enjoys treating dry eye, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and fitting contact lenses. "It's important for me to be able to give the best level of care to all of my patients, so I stay up to date on all aspects of my clinical care and new technologies."
Outside of clinic, Dr. Chuang enjoys playing tennis, watching NBA basketball, hiking, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and dog.

He currently serves as a vision rehabilitation consultant for several rehabilitation facilities, including NeuroRestorative and Centre for Neuro Skills, and is set to collaborate with the California Rehabilitation Institute.
An experienced educator, Dr. Ikeda has served as a clinical associate professor at Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry and is an active member of the American Optometric Association Vision Rehabilitation Committee.
Outside of his professional commitments, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, fishing, and golfing. Dr. Ikeda's extensive expertise and commitment to patient care make him a leading figure in optometric vision rehabilitation.

Dr. Scheinhorn received her Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University in New Orleans, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She was also cited by the American Medical Women’s Association for scholastic achievement. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at Louisiana State University Eye Center in New Orleans.
Dr. Scheinhorn served the community of Glendale, California for over 30 years. She was voted Best Ophthalmologist, Glendale in 2017 and 2018. She has also been honored for her dedication and support of Glendale Healthy Kids.
