She graduated from the University of Michigan with high honors and then attended medical school at Wayne State University. She completed her ophthalmology residency and glaucoma fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI.
Dr. Peracha-Riyaz provides the latest and most up to date treatments including advanced cataract surgery and medical and surgical care of glaucoma. Above all else, Dr. Peracha-Riyaz prides herself on providing the most compassionate care to each and every patient.
She recently relocated back to Michigan from Washington D.C., where she was named a Washingtonian Top Doctor. She is married with a young daughter and loves spending time with her family. Dr. Peracha is an avid runner, painter, and modern design enthusiast. She is so excited to join her father, brother, and excellent team at Eye Surgeons Associates!

He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and Diplomat of the American Academy of Opthalmology.
