Dr. Susan Ghodsi, O.D. has been practicing Optometry for over 25years. With her extensive clinical knowledge, Dr. Ghodsi excels in patient care, namely complex contact lens evaluations. She is experienced in diagnosing and treating ocular disease, LASIK co-management and comprehensive eye exams.
Dr. Ghodsi received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from University of California, Irvine and her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1996.
Dr. Ghodsi lives in Irvine with her two sons and enjoys spending time with her friends and family. As a mother, Dr. Ghodsi understands the importance of healthy vision and strives to provide quality eye care. She is excited to meet you and is accepting new patients.
Dr. Kara McEachern, OD, has been practicing family and pediatric Optometry since 2008. She received her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University in North Carolina. Dr. McEachern then returned to California to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
Dr. McEachern’s clinical training included a series of specialized internships: pediatrics, binocular vision, contact lens and low vision at the Meredith Morgan Eye Center in Berkeley; ocular disease and primary care at the Alameda County Medical Center in Oakland; surgery and ocular disease at the VA Medical Center Livermore; and primary care and contact lens at Cal State LA and Cal State Northridge Student Health Centers.
Dr. McEachern was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She now resides in Aliso Viejo with her husband and three kids. Dr. McEachern has been a welcomed addition to OC Optometry Group from Dr. Stephen Prepas office. Dr. Demirjian was born and raised in San Fernando Valley. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from California State University, Northridge in the Northridge neighborhood of Los Angelos, California. After graduation, she pursued her optometry education at Marshall B. Ketchum University's Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California, where she received her doctorate of optometry (OD).
Her experiences include providing vision care in the optometry department at VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, as well as the Optometric Center of Los Angeles.
Dr. Demirjian takes great pride in working with the most experienced surgeons and state-of-the-art technology. To stay current with the latest insights into optometry, she is an active member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and the San Fernando Valley Optometric Society.
Dr. Demirjian is trained and licensed to prescribe diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceuticals for vision issues. She can also diagnose, treat and help manage glaucoma. Throughout her career, she has co-managed LASIK procedures as well.
