After completing his undergraduate studies at Harvard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Dr. Fitzgibbons obtained his medical degree program from a combined program at Dartmouth Medical School and Brown Medical School in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Fitzgibbons stayed at Brown University to complete his residency in orthopedic surgery as well as his fellowship in orthopedic trauma. Dr. Guidi is the Co-Director of our Regenerative Medicine group, RegenMD, which is an Orthobiologics Sports Medicine Center that offers a wide range of Regenerative options of treatment.
Dr. Guidi completed his undergraduate schooling at Bucknell University as Magna Cum Laude in 1982. He began medical school at Albany Medical College of Union University where he was in the top tier of his class as Cum Laude.
Following the attainment of his MD at Albany Medical, Dr. Guidi enrolled at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, in order to accomplish his internship of medicine. He soon after went on to his Orthopedic Residency at the Hospital of Joint Diseases in New York, NY and then Sports Medicine Fellowship at Georgetown University’s Arlington Hospital and the Virginia Sports Medicine Institute from 1992-1993.

After graduating from medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., Dr. Underwood completed his residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) in Richmond, Virginia. The medical field of PM&R specializes in maximizing the performance of patients in both elite and everyday activities.
After residency training, Dr. Underwood completed his sports medicine fellowship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He has served as a team physician for high schools and universities, including the NCAA Division 1 TCU Horned Frogs and Longwood University Lancers.
Specific conditions which Dr. Underwood treats include (but are not limited to) acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, joint pain, tendonitis, sacroiliac disorders, back pain, sciatica, spine arthritis, disc disease, and nerve injuries. Lisa Siddall, FNP- BC, joined Arthritis & Sports | Orthopaedics, Physical Therapy & Wellness in October 2009. A family nurse practitioner, Lisa treats patients at Sterling and South Riding, Virginia.
Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota. She continued her education with a family nurse practitioner program, earning her master's degree from the University of Phoenix in Honolulu, Hawaii, before serving five years of active duty in the United States Air Force.
Lisa specializes in treating all general orthopaedic conditions, specifically arthritis management. With over 20 years of nursing experience, she brings exceptional experience with orthopaedics and family care, only further broadening the range of services offered to her patients.

David S. Goodwin, MD, is a board-certified sports medicine orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the non-operative and surgical treatment of youth and adult patients with shoulder, knee, hip, and sports injuries at Arthritis & Sports | Orthopaedics, Physical Therapy & Wellness in South Riding, Virginia.
After attending George Washington University in Washington, D.C., for his undergraduate and medical education, Dr. Goodwin completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
He then completed a sports medicine fellowship at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, now called NYU Langone Orthopaedic Hospital, in New York City, New York. During his training, Dr. Goodwin specialized in treating athletic injuries, arthroscopy, and shoulder surgery, focusing on hip arthroscopy and cartilage restoration techniques.

Dr. Mantell is a fellowship trained, orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine. He is a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. He received his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, and stayed in the area to complete his residency at The George Washington University Hospital. He continued his training at the prestigious New England Baptist Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital, where Dr. Mantell completed his fellowship training in sports medicine. Dr. Mantell joined Winchester Orthopaedic Associates in September 2017.

Dr. Max Lingamfelter is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in adult hip and knee reconstruction (total joint surgery). He attained additional training through a prestigious joint reconstruction fellowship while at the University of Minnesota and is the first fellowship trained total joint surgeon to the Winchester area. This training involves the most up to date and advanced skills in primary joint replacement surgery, such as partial knee replacement (Uni and Patellofemoral replacements), direct anterior hip replacement and robotic assisted total joint reconstruction. Additionally, he provides care for patients with the most complex and challenging total joint problems: post-traumatic arthritis, prior reconstructions, prior deformity, infections, fractures, and aseptic loosening.
During his orthopedic surgical residency, Rowan University – Inspira Health Network, he gained extensive experience working alongside surgeons from the renowned Rothman Orthopaedic Institute. He received his doctorate from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth Texas. Dr. Max (as he is known in the clinic) has published several papers and given many lectures on the most up to date techniques in joint replacement surgery.
