Throughout his career, Dr. Husain has been actively involved in research and academics. Dr. Husain has multiple publications on a variety of topics related to spine surgery in peer-reviewed journals as well as textbooks.

Dr. Husain is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and an active member of the North American Spine Society.
