Dr. Sood received a degree in pharmaceutical medicine from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He received his certification as a doctor of osteopathy at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He returned to Rutgers for his residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine, gaining valuable experience at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

His specific interests include pain related to nerve problems, sports injuries, and cancer. His pharmacy background has proven to be an asset while managing intractable pain. Dr. Sood is also skilled in treatment for unsightly and painful varicose veins, including sclerotherapy and vein ablation.
Dr. Sood has been concentrating on finding new ways to improve his patient’s quality of life through regenerative medicine. He feels that platelet-rich plasma therapy and stem cell treatments will be monumental in the future of medicine.
