Michael Walls, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management specialist with more than 10 years of medical experience. He is proud to serve the communities of Carrollton and Crestview Hills, Kentucky, at Commonwealth Pain & Spine.

A northern Kentucky, native, Dr. Walls grew up in Bellevue, where he attended high school. With a deep connection to his home state, Dr. Walls decided to pursue a biotechnology degree from the University of Kentucky, graduating in 1999. It was during his time in undergraduate school that Dr. Walls was published in two pediatric cardiology articles and was involved in lung cancer research. He later earned a medical doctorate from the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, in 2004.

In 2009, Dr. Walls returned to his roots in northern Kentucky, where he has since been practicing for 10 years. In addition to holding board certification in anesthesiology and pain management, Dr. Walls is certified in the use of ultrasound for interventional pain management.
