Arun Amaram, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician at North Dallas Primary Care Doctors in Frisco, Texas. Dr. Amaram uses his board certifications in pediatrics and neonatology, his years of experience, and his warm bedside manner to ensure the comfort of each child and adolescent patient he sees as they get quality care.
After earning his medical degree at Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India, Dr. Amaram completed both an internship and a pediatric residency at Brooklyn’s Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in neonatology at Wayne State University in Detroit.
Dr. Amaram is a member of the American Academy of Pediatricians. He uses his extensive education and years of experience to offer warm, comfortable care to kids of all ages, but he has a special interest in newborn and toddler care and care for children with special needs. He enjoys working with children with Down syndrome and autism, as well as former premature infants. Dr. Amaram also specializes in childhood asthma treatment.
He is experienced in a wide range of procedures and treatments, including circumcisions, vaccinations, allergy treatment, head lice treatment, and diabetes treatment. He also offers care to kids with eating disorders.
Dr. Amaram knows there’s nothing worse for a parent than watching their child suffer. That’s why he offers same-day sick appointments. He also includes annual well visits in each patient’s care plan to prevent disease and to protect their overall health.

Shanthi Rajasekaran, M.D., F.A.A.P. wants to make a difference in all her patients’ lives by making them all practice healthy life styles. Dr. Rajasekaran earned her medical degree from Stanley Medical College in Chennai, India, and completed her residency training at St. John's Medical Center in Detroit, MI. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Rajasekaran’s primary medical interest includes Special children and preventive care. She enjoys seeing children of all ages, from newborns to adolescents.
Her Patient Care Philosophy, in her own words: “I believe that good communication between doctor and patient is essential. As a Pediatrician, I have the privilege of watching children and families grow. Children are the future and the younger generation can change the world. All children have amazing potential if given a stimulating and nurturing environment to thrive.”
Dr. Rajasekaran was born in Chennai, a metropolitan city in southern India, and moved to the U.S in 1996. She is a mother of 2 kids, 21 year old daughter and 27 year old son. She loves doing yoga and mindful meditation practices every day. Traveling is also one of her passions.
Carrie Jones, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician committed to helping parents raise happy, healthy children. Through her work at Argyle Pediatrics in Argyle, Texas, she considers herself privileged to be part of the journey of each child’s life, celebrating all the milestones between infancy and high school graduation.
In addition to serving her patients in a private practice, Dr. Jones is also an on-staff pediatrician at Texas Health Resources in Denton, Texas.
Dr. Jones enjoys the small community setting of Argyle Pediatrics as it gives her more opportunity to devote her full attention to children and their family’s needs. She and her dedicated staff also stay actively involved in the Argyle and surrounding communities through activities with their own children.
Graduating with a degree in biology from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, Dr. Jones fell in love with the field of pediatrics while attending medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston where she later received her medical degree. She went on to complete her internship and residency in pediatrics at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Jones loves spending time with her husband Richey and her children. She can often be found cheering on her three sons and daughter at the baseball fields, the theater, and on the basketball court.
