Dr. Sushil Anand of Sunshine Pediatrics in Ontario and Upland, California, has over 15 years experience caring for children as a specialist in pediatric medicine. Although she is Canadian by birth, Dr. Lau grew up in Temple City, California and attended the University of California, Irvine where she majored in biological sciences. She subsequently found her way back to winter seasons and more than 100 inches of snow per year when she studied at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania.

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Lau completed her pediatric residency at the Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit from 2016 to 2019. In addition, she served a one year term as Chief Resident of her training program before joining Sierra Pacific Pediatrics in July of 2020. From well-child appointments to sick visits and everything in between, Dr. Lau’s passion for taking care of children shines through in her interactions with patients and families. She strives to be thorough and understanding to the needs of each child that comes through our doors. Dr. Richard Chang is a board-certified pediatrician treating patients in Fontana and Eastvale, California. He is currently welcoming new patients at Sierra Pacific Pediatric Associates.

Dr. Chang grew up in North Carolina. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and he received his MD in 1997 from the Wake Forest School of Medicine. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Texas-Houston medical school in 2000.

Dr. Chang practiced in the state of Texas for five years before moving to California, where he opened Sierra Pacific Pediatric Associates. In addition to being board-certified in pediatrics, Dr. Chang is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. As a testament to his medical knowledge, he served as Chair of Pediatrics at San Antonio Regional Hospital and continues on the Pediatrics Committee.

Loanne B. Tran, MD, MPH is a primary care physician who is in private practice serving patients in Arcadia and surrounding communities. She specializes in internal medicine and pediatrics and has built her practice around the concept of providing highly individualized care that focuses on the specific needs and goals of each patient.  She has a compassionate and caring bedside manner, and seeks to establish lasting relationships with all of her patients.

Dr. Tran received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. She went on to complete her Medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine.   She also earned a Master degree in Public Health and Tropical Medicine at Tulane School of Public Health in New Orleans. She did her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the Los Angeles County - USC Medical Center where she also served as Chief Resident.

Zacharia Reda, M.D., is board certified in pediatric medicine and pediatric critical care. He served his residency at LAC/ University of Southern California Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Additionally, he completed a pediatric critical care fellowship at UCLA. Dr. Reda serves as Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center, and served as associate director of PICU at Miller Children's, St. Vincent, and Valley Presbyterian Hospital.

Alireza Fathi, M.D. is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care.

He completed pediatric training at Miami Children's Hospital, and his fellowship in pediatric critical care at San Diego Children's Hospital. He holds a Doctorate of Medicine from St. George's University School of Medicine and received a Bachelor of Science with Cuma Laude from the University of California—San Diego.

Dr. Fathi is affiliated with the University of California—Irvine as an Assistant Clinical Professor.

His special interests include pulmonary hypertension in children with congenital heart disease and the use of hypertonic saline in treatment of children with head trauma. Dr. Fathi is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Sindu Pillai, MD, is an award-winning pediatrician who provides care at her private practice, Dr. Sindu Pillai, MD Inc., which has two offices in Murrieta, California. Dr. Pillai’s love for children and the desire to help them grow into healthy adults motivated her to choose a career in pediatrics.

After graduating from TD Medical College in Alappuzha, India, with a gold medal award (award for earning the highest marks in all subjects), Dr. Pillai relocated to the United States. She moved to Chicago, Illinois, to complete her pediatric residency at Cook County Hospital.

With devotion to supporting the community, Dr. Tan has been actively involved in and the driving force behind many community groups. He is the founder and president of the Cambodian Health Professionals Association of America (CHPAA), a board member of Long Beach Memorial Medical Center/Miller Children’s Hospital, and on the advisory board of The Children’s Clinic.
