Dr. Yuth is a Northern Virginia native, born and raised in Springfield. She received a dual degree Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics and Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University. She went on to St. George's University in Grenada for medical school followed by completion of pediatric residency at Jefferson Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia.
She is deeply passionate about newborn care, advocating for and empowering mothers in their breastfeeding journeys. She is currently in pursuit of becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) as another means to strengthen her skill set and offer support to her patients. Additionally in the seemingly opposite realm of adolescent health her other passion includes her commitment to providing sensitive gynecological care and guidance to teenage girls. She also has a clinical interest in the management of atopic diseases such as asthma and eczema and strives to stay up to date with the latest research and guidelines.
Dr. Yuth takes pride in building strong nurturing relationships with families. She collaborates closely with them to make informed choices that are in the best interest of the child's health and well being. James Baugh, M.D., F.A.A.P., has been on the team at Virginia Pediatric Group for over thirty years. He has dedicated his medical career to providing pediatric care for children in Fairfax and Herndon, Virginia.
Dr. Baugh was born in New York and considers San Marino, California, his hometown. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in human biology at Stanford University and his medical degree from George Washington University in 1980. He completed his pediatrics residency training at the William Beaumont Army Center in 1983.
Prior to joining Virginia Pediatric Group in 1989, Dr. Baugh served in the U.S. Army in Missouri and Belgium. He also completed an Infectious Disease Fellowship at the Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Dr. Baugh has received numerous teaching awards, including Best Pediatric Resident Teaching Award, Best Ambulatory Pediatric Attending Teacher at Inova Fairfax Children's Hospital 1999, 2005, 2011, and a Teacher Excellence Award from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010.
Dr. Baugh's interests in pediatrics are multifaceted. His professional enjoyment stems from his intrigue into the many facets of child health and development and how children and families can thrive. He enjoys seeing the human brain develop and adapt as a child is nurtured, loved, and educated. He also likes learning about issues in infectious illnesses, both here and abroad. More recently, international adoption has become an interest as it involves child development, sometimes infectious illnesses, and always international medicine.
In recent years, Dr. Baugh has traveled internationally to promote pediatric education training efforts in Haiti. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is proficient in French.
In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, exercise, hiking, biking, French, music, travel, and gardening. He has two grown children and resides in Fairfax with his wife.

Dr. Habib was born in Tehran, Iran, and earned her medical degree in 1981 from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. In 1988, she completed her pediatric training in hospitals in Karachi, London, and Dublin, graduating with the highest honors.
For several years, Dr. Habib worked as a pediatrician as well as a researcher and medical director for two international pharmaceutical companies. During this time, she became interested in public health and began her training at Harvard school of public health. She then earned a Master of Health Science in molecular microbiology and immunology from Johns Hopkins in 2001.
For over a decade, Dr. Habib worked in various allied health fields. She completed her pediatrics residency at Toledo Children's Hospital and became board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Subsequently, she worked as a pediatrician in Ohio, Fredericksburg, and Reston until she joined the Virginia Pediatric Group in 2017.
Dr. Habib is a Graduate Fellow of the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, Arizona University, 2023. She is trained in Reach institute and treats children/adolescents with mental illness.

Melody Heiskell, M.D., F.A.A.P., is a compassionate pediatrician serving the families of Virginia Pediatric Group. Dr. Libby was born and raised in the Washington, D.C., area. He received his Bachelor of Science in zoology and his Doctor of Medicine at George Washington University. Laurence Seidman, MD, is an experienced pediatrician with the team at NOVA Pediatrics and Young Adult Medicine and sees patients at the practice’s locations in Springfield and Woodbridge, Virginia. Tiffany Meyer, MD, is an experienced pediatrician who joined the NOVA Pediatrics and Young Adult Medicine team in 2006. She currently sees patients at both their Woodbridge and Springfield, Virginia, offices.
Dr. Meyer grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, and completed her undergraduate studies in biology at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, where she graduated with honors. She then moved to Washington, DC, and earned her medical degree at The George Washington University (GWU). She went on to complete her residency and fellowship at Children's National Medical Center. Afterward, she returned to GWU and earned her Master of Public Health. Dr.

Dr. Sara Halpern grew up in Ithaca, New York. She received her BS in Behavioral Science at McGill University in Montreal, and then moved to Tel Aviv, Israel to attend medical school at Sackler School of Medicine. She returned to the US (after 9 years!) and came to Washington DC in 2018 to complete her residency at Children’s National Medical Center. She is proficient in French and conversational Hebrew. Dr. Halpern will be living in DC with her tiny but energetic cat Bitsy. In her free time outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and trying out all the restaurants in DC with friends. Alifiya Tyabji, MD, is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Tyabji grew up in Stephens City, Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of Virginia in 1999, followed by a Doctor of Medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 2004, where she also completed her internship and residency in pediatrics. After practicing in Colorado Springs and Las Vegas, she and her family relocated to Northern Virginia to follow her husband’s Air Force career.

Nicole completed her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
She furthered her education at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, achieving a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Villanova University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a Masters in Family Medicine from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia.
Pegah has worked in the adult medical ICU and pediatric clinics affiliated with Georgetown University Hospital and INOVA. She is board-certified in Family Medicine and a certified instructor of the COPE program, a cognitive behavioral therapy curriculum to help school-aged children with anxiety.
Her clinical interests encompass all aspects of pediatric care from newborn to adolescence. Her particular interests include asthma management, constipation management, as well as anxiety and mental health related issues.
Pegah was born and raised in NoVA. She lives in Vienna with her husband and three children. She has a large extended family in the area who she loves spending time with. She enjoys cooking, reading, and is attempting to learn tennis and golf! She speaks English, Spanish, and Farsi.
Isabel Jander, MD, is a Doctor of Medicine specializing in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at Advanced Pediatrics. She received her B.S. from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She completed medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) and residency in New York City at Cohen Children's Medical Center (Cohen's Children's Hospital) in Queens, New York.
Dr. Jander comes to Advanced Pediatrics with more than 18 years of experience as a Primary Care Pediatrician. She was named to Washingtonian's Top Doctors each year from 2015 to 2020. She is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French.
Her clinical interests encompass all aspects of pediatric care from newborn to adolescence. She has special interests in acute illness management and newborn care.
She is board-certified in Pediatric Medicine and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
Dr. Jander lives with her husband and three children in McLean, Virginia.
Brock Ebbing, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant specializing in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at Advanced Pediatrics. Brock was born and raised in midwestern Illinois. He completed his Master's degree in Medical Sciences at the Saint Louis University Physician Assistant Program in December 2018.
Before becoming a Physician Assistant, he was an EMT for three years. Brock also pursued an education in sports science while in undergraduate studies.
He moved to the Northern Virginia area in early 2019 to be with his now wife, Audrey, who works for the federal government.
Prior to coming on board with Advanced Pediatrics, he had a year and a half of hands-on experience in Adult and Pediatric Urgent Care in Stone Ridge, Virginia. He then transitioned into pediatric-only urgent care, practicing in Manassas, Virginia, for an additional year and a half.
Brock enjoys hiking, country music, the Indianapolis Colts, and spending time with his family and friends.
