Dr. Garcia completed a one year interventional pain management fellowship at the Florida Spine Institute in Tampa, Florida. He specialized in the treatment of acute and chronic pain using a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to pain management. He will construct a unique treatment plan for each patient that may combine rehabilitation therapy, medication management, and adjunctive therapies. Following residency training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Anesthesiology and Critical Care, he completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Bogdan Anghel was born in Bucharest, Romania, where he earned his medical degree from “Carol Davila” University Medical School. He completed his surgical residencies at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in New York, NY, and the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. His training concluded with a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
With twenty-six years of experience, Dr. Anghel specializes in the management of painful spine and musculoskeletal disorders. He has a particular interest in interventional procedures such as epidural steroid injections, spine and peripheral joint injections, peripheral radiofrequency neurolysis, and spinal cord stimulator trials.
Dr. Anghel is board certified and re-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as well as in Pain Medicine. He is proficient in Romanian, Spanish, and German. Currently residing in Show Low, AZ, Dr. Anghel leads an active lifestyle that includes running, hiking, and weightlifting. He is an avid reader of non-fiction and enjoys playing chess.
