Dr. Jonathan Stacey graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Medicine, Department of Rehab Science, and is the Clinic Director at the Olney office. He comes to PTSMC with a nearly sixteen-year history with the University of Maryland Rehab and Ortho Institute, treating patients with a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological issues, ranging from spinal cord injuries and amputations to Guillain-Barré syndrome and Multiple Sclerosis. He also is very experienced with wheelchair seating and positioning as well as vestibular rehabilitation. Jonathan is also skilled at assessing and treating spine and pelvis dysfunction and gait and balance issues. He is very passionate about his career and views his patients as family members, deserving of all the same care, compassion, and attention. He also enjoys teaching. Dr. Stacey is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor, with many former interns now successful DPTs. He also served as an associate professor for several years at the University of Maryland Baltimore, School of Medicine, his alma mater. Jonathan is thrilled to have the opportunity to provide the PTSMC clients with a high level of care and to work with a very skilled therapy team at the clinic serving the Olney community and the surrounding area.
In his personal life, Dr. Stacey, a dad of five wonderful children, lives with his wife and family in Sykesville, MD. Raised in the small town of Massena, NY, Dr. Stacey has called Maryland home for over 25 years. Prior to attending grad school, he had a nearly ten-year career with Wal-Mart, where he honed his customer service skills, frequently recognized for this both there and in his previous career at the University of Maryland.
Sohalia Mosaddegh, DPT, is a doctor of physical therapy serving patients at Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center’s locations in Olney and Laurel, Maryland.
Dr. Mosaddegh earned a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from Howard University. She received her doctoral degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Her research focus was on the effectiveness of physical therapy diagnoses of lumbar disease versus MRI. Dr. Mosaddegh has worked in the orthopedic and sports medicine field for more than 20 years.
She offers patients the most advanced physical therapy for optimizing movement, function, and health. She is guided by integrity, life-long learning, and a commitment to her patients’ health. Dr. Mosaddegh is dedicated to using evidence-based physical therapy throughout the continuum of care to improve quality of life.
Dr. Mosaddegh says: “I have the privilege to work with everyone from middle school and high school athletes, professional tennis players, and weekend athletes, as well as older adults and injured workers. I chose the physical therapy field because it combines the human body with exercise and movement.”
Patience Nduka is a well-experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy who is dedicated to patient care at the Bowie and Laurel locations of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center. She started her physical therapy career in Nigeria, where she earned her Master’s in physical therapy, from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. After completing her internship program, Dr. Nduka practiced physical therapy for a few years in Nigeria, where she gained extensive experience in various settings including general orthopedics, and women’s health through clinical rotation.
In the United States of America, Dr. Nduka earned her doctorate in physical therapy at Dominican University, New York. She is also certified in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy with Ola Grimsby Institute and Women’s Health.
Dr. Nduka utilizes a unique approach that combines soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, and scientific therapeutic exercise progression to identify and solve patients’ problems from the root. Driven by passion and compassion for over 15 years, Dr. Nduka is privileged to help people who suffer from pain, dysfunction, injury, and disability return to optimal function and improved quality of life.
Outside of treating patients, Dr. Nduka loves Christian music, dance, fitness, workouts, and church activities.
T Gordon Cort, PT, DPT, is an accomplished and experienced Howard University-trained physical therapist. He is the office manager at Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center’s Greenbelt, Maryland, location.
Dr. Cort has a wealth of experience in orthopedic physical therapy and pain management. He originally graduated from Howard University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy and returned to his alma mater to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Dr. Cort specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of persons with myofascial pain syndrome, chronic pain syndrome, and other myofascial-related disorders. He has also specialized in industrial rehabilitation. Over the years, he has brought his diagnostic and treatment skills to patients with chronic headaches/migraines of a soft tissue/myofascial origin and has impacted the lives of many headache sufferers.
He studied dry needling techniques under the tutelage of Dr. Jan Dammerholt and applied these techniques in the treatment of patients with chronic pain, especially in the injured worker population. Dr. Court has combined his back-to-work program (work hardening) with dry needling and other pain management techniques to resolve many workman’s compensation cases and successfully assist injured workers to return to work full duty.
Dr. Cort currently treats a significant number of injured workers, taking them from the point of injury to a successful return to work. He has and continues to treat patients with headaches and other orthopedic injuries successfully and finds pleasure in bringing relief to his patients.
Megan McDaniel, PTA, is a physical therapist assistant at Arthritis & Sports | Orthopaedics, Physical Therapy & Wellness in South Riding, Virginia. Megan joined the practice family in 2016. She provides all her patients with high-quality, patient-centered, individualized, and comprehensive care.
Megan received her Associate of Applied Science as a physical therapy assistant from Northern Virginia Community College - Annandale Campus in Annandale, Virginia. The college is composed of six campuses and four centers in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C.
She specializes in treating all types of general orthopaedic injuries, including sports-related injuries, ACL reconstruction, and rotator cuff repair.

Christy Wilson, DPT, is a physical therapist at Arthritis & Sports | Orthopaedics, Physical Therapy & Wellness in South Riding, Virginia. Christy joined the practice family in 2013. She provides all of her patients with whole-body, patient-centered, comprehensive care. Her mission is to help all patients find pain relief and improve their quality of life.
In May 2002, Christy graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, with a Bachelor of Arts in public policy. She then continued to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from George Washington University (GWU) in Washington, D.C., in May 2009.
Christy specializes in treating all general orthopaedic conditions, specifically shoulder, knee and ankle pain, problems, and injuries, as well as sports-related injuries. She focuses on manual treatment techniques and working with young athletes.
Through her previous employment and education, Christy brings valuable experience working with manual techniques, joint mobilizations, deep tissue massage, and treatment plans for orthopaedic and neurological diagnoses.
Ashley Norman, DPT, is a physical therapist at Arthritis & Sports | Orthopaedics, Physical Therapy & Wellness in South Riding, Virginia. Ashley joined the family practice in 2018. She provides patient-centered, compassionate, customized care to all her patients, and she finds joy in helping them to improve their mobility and daily living.
In 2015, Ashley received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University (SU) in Winchester, Virginia.
