Serpil (Sara) Turnbull RN, MSN, PMHNP is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Sara’s extensive nursing career and work experience began in the areas of Emergency Room (ER), Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the inpatient Psychiatric care unit at the Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, in Columbia, Maryland. Her expertise comprises working with a variety of psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia and psychotic disorders, substance-related and addictive disorders, and neurocognitive disorders. Matthew Myers, PTA, is a skilled physical therapist assistant at the Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center location in Laurel, Maryland.

He furthered his education at Howard University and earned his physical therapist assistant license after graduation. Emilia Kubera-Shelton is a well-experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy with a passion for outpatient care at the Bowie and Laurel locations of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center. She started her career at UNLV in Las Vegas, Nevada, obtaining a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
Emilia has treated patients ages 5 to 95, utilizing the McKenzie Method and her advanced manual therapy skills to do so. She has a special interest in impairments of the foot, ankle, spine, and shoulders and has provided care for patients with a multitude of diagnoses including neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and respiratory conditions.
