About Margaret M. Donlon, MD

Dr. Margaret Donlon is Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She earned her B.S. degree from Middlebury College and a Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH) from Yale University.

Dr. Donlon completed her medical school training at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and completed an internship in Internal Medicine at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. Dr. Donlon subsequently pursued her Residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark NJ at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. About Janel B. Romello, DO

Dr. Romello is a Board-Certified Physiatrist and Fellowship trained in Musculoskeletal Medicine and Interventional Pain Management. 

Dr. Romello earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from York College of Pennsylvania. Originally from New York, she completed her medical school training at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM) at the New York Institute of Technology. Dr. Romello was a member of the Honor Society, Psi Sigma Alpha. While there, she was selected as an Undergraduate Fellow in the Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) where she stayed for an additional year instructing first and second year medical students in the OMM laboratory. In addition, she gained further clinical hours on campus treating patients. 

Dr. Romello then completed her internship at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Islip New York, followed by her residency in the specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UMDNJ Newark, and Kessler Institute. She remained at UMDNJ/Kessler for her fellowship in Musculoskeletal Medicine and Interventional Spine. During this time, she also received additional subspecialty training in interventional spinal procedures, musculoskeletal ultrasound, electrodiagnostic medicine and sports medicine.

Dr. Romello strives to deliver comprehensive care and values the time spent with each patient. Her goal is to provide individualized treatment with a focus on lifestyle while taking a collaborative approach with her patients, offering knowledge and guidance throughout their recovery. She performs electrodiagnostic testing (EMG) and musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnostic purposes. In addition, she utilizes ultrasound for therapeutic purposes providing guidance for joint and peritendinous injections, as well as peripheral nerve blocks. As part of non-operative care of spinal conditions, she administers lumbar nerve blocks, epidural steroid injections, sacroiliac injections, and trigger point injections. She also has an interest in regenerative medicine and performs ultrasound guided procedures including percutaneous needle tenotomy and platelet rich plasma injections. 

Dr. Romello is an active member of professional societies including the American academy of physical medicine and rehabilitation (AAPM&R) and the North American Spine Society (NASS). She currently serves as the secretary/treasurer of the New Jersey Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Renee Crickmore, PT, MPT Clinic Director of Pursue PT & Wellness

Renee is a certified physical therapist who specializes in manual therapy, pre and post - surgery rehabilitation, concussion, spinal, and balance & vestibular rehabilitation.

Renee received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from St. Francis College and her Master’s degree in Physical therapy from St. Francis University. 

Renee is a certified Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist. She also holds a certificate in concussion management, fall prevention, Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction, and in rehabilitation for hip and knee joint replacements.

Renee has worked as a home care physical therapist.  Since her successful launch and development of Pursue in 2016, Renee has returned to her passion of helping people get back to what they enjoy doing in an outpatient physical therapy facility.

Renee’s passion is rooted in her belief that care should be personal. Dr. Kothari grew up in northern New Jersey, where his family still resides. He was accepted into an accelerated seven-year medical program directly from high school. He completed his residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, where he served as chief resident in his final year.

Before joining MBO, Dr. Kothari was a clinical instructor for the Department of PM&R at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In addition to his clinical duties, he was involved with training medical students and residents. Before his departure, Dr. Kothari was nominated for the title of associate clinical professor.

Dr. Kothari is a published author and has a variety of publications, including most recently a “Pocket Handbook of Spinal Injections,” which is used as a quick reference for doctors in training. 

He has a special interest in spinal disorders and musculoskeletal injuries and performs various fluoroscopically-guided procedures and ultrasound-guided procedures, including epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, joint injections, radiofrequency ablation and spinal cord stimulation.

Brandon Frisco, DPT graduated with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University in 2015 and with his DPT from Stockton University in 2018. Brandon is licensed in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania and practices in our Hamilton, NJ and Langhorne, PA offices. He is certified in vestibular rehabilitation and has experience treating various musculoskeletal conditions. Frank Moceri, LPT, is a licensed Physical Therapist with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Frank has been practicing in the orthopedic setting for over 20 years. He has been trained in a full range of treatment methods for all types of acute and chronic orthopedic conditions as well as sports-related injuries. In addition, Frank has a great deal of experience working with children and young athletes. Frank is a member of the APTA national and local chapters, as well as the Orthopedic Section. Dr. Selorm Takyi joined Revive Spine and Pain Center in 2020. He completed his physiatry residency at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, offered through the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. With a passion for teaching, he served as an academic chief resident and graduated residency in 2019. He then completed his fellowship in regenerative orthopedics and musculoskeletal medicine.

Dr. Takyi practices compassionate medicine and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in 2014 while attending Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Specializing in both ultrasound-guided and fluoroscopic-guided techniques to treat pain and sports medicine injuries, he is excited to share his goal of using non-surgical procedures to help restore function and quality of life to his patients. With his training in physiatry, Dr. Takyi enjoys creating comprehensive treatment plans for his patients. Mahmud Ibrahim, MD, at Revive Spine and Pain Center Marlton, Hamilton Township, East Brunswick and Northfield, New Jersey, holds dual board certification in sports medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation and is fellowship trained in interventional pain management.

When treating patients at Revive Spine and Pain Center, his goal is to restore function, reduce pain, and promote an active, healthy lifestyle using conservative measures whenever possible.

Dr. Ibrahim has provided sideline coverage at football games, captained the medical tents at the New York City marathon, and was a ringside physician for the Golden Gloves of America boxing tournament and professional wrestling. 

Michael Rizkalla, MD, a skilled physician with double-board certification in sports medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation, founded Revive Spine and Pain Center in 2017.
