Podiatrist Daniel Mallett, DPM, has years of experience providing comprehensive pain relief and foot care. He is proud to serve patients at Front Range Foot and Ankle Clinic in Parker, Colorado.
Dr. Mallett received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio. He then earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine) in Independence, Ohio.
Afterward, he completed his podiatry residency at Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. He is affiliated with Parker Adventist Hospital and Crown Point Surgery Center, both in Parker, Colorado.
Dr. Mallett enjoys his free time immersed in recreational activities with his family and friends. Together with his wife and two children, Dr. Mallett enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, backpacking, and playing games. Dr. John McGarry received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in 1985 and established Foot Specialist Associates, PC in 1987. He is a past director of the Residency Training Program at Presbyterian/ St. Luke's Hospital, serving in this capacity from 1993 until 2004. He has been active in education at both the state and national levels throughout his career. Dr. McGarry is also a past president of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. McGarry is married and has two adult children. He has a great love for the outdoors and for endurance sports. He has climbed all of the 14,000 foot peaks in Colorado at least once, is a fourth degree black belt in aikido and has also ridden his bicycle across the United States from the West Coast to the East Coast. Dr. McGarry is a devoted trail runner and has run many races including marathons and 100 mile races. He is most passionate about the Leadville 100 and has run that trail race on four different occasions. As a result of his own personal devotion to running, he feels a great commitment to treating athletes of all sports and abilities in addition to treating patients for other types of foot issues.
Currently, Dr. McGarry's interests include playing the guitar. He is a member of a local band and has played with his group at local venues. Dr. McGarry's professional affiliations include the Colorado Podiatric Medical Association, the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Lauren Molchan, DPM, is a skilled and compassionate podiatrist practicing at Foot Specialist Associates in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Molchan began her undergraduate education at the University of Tennessee, where she pole vaulted on their women’s track team. She later graduated from Moravian College with her BS in biology, where she continued her collegiate athletic career. She then worked in clinical research at UCLA, where she developed her interest in surgery. Her combined passion for sports and medicine led her to pursue her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine & Surgery from the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California.
Dr. Molchan completed her three-year foot and ankle surgery residency in Denver, Colorado, at Highlands-Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center and served as chief resident in her final year. Her training involved exposure to all aspects of foot and ankle surgery. She is the youngest member of the board of directors for the Colorado Podiatric Medical Association and participates in training surgical residents as an attending in the Denver area. Dr. Molchan has a passion for global medicine and has co-founded a global reconstructive surgery medical program that will be traveling to Moyobamba, Peru July 2022. The program was established to provide surgical care to children with disabilities or neglected trauma, as well as physician training and education to local providers.
She enjoys treating a wide variety of foot and ankle pathologies, including sports injuries, trauma, pediatrics, forefoot and rearfoot deformities, arthroscopy, arthritic conditions, and total joint replacement. Her mission is to provide superior comprehensive foot and ankle care while adhering to principles of focused and patient-centered care. She believes the best outcomes are achieved when both the patient and physician work as a team. She is excited to serve the greater Denver community that she trained in. “I had a procedure with Dr Varnay about 8 weeks ago and things were doing wonderfully. I was walking better feeling better, it was all good. Then I stubbed my toe in a different sort of way and caused myself some problems. They got me in for some X-rays and look see said everything is fine just need to take care of it use your shoe a little bit more and take some antibiotics just in case there might have been some bacteria that got in where I stubbed it. I remain steadfastly in their corner !”

Dr. Olivia Stransky, originally from northern California, graduated from the prestigous three year residency training program at Highlands/Presbyterian St. Lukes Podiatric Surgical Residency. Her studies began at the University of California Santa Cruz where she earned a BS in Health Sciences. Later she earned her Doctorate of Podiatric medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt and completed her fourth year clinicals at Maricopa County Hospital in Phoeniz, Az. As a result of her residency training Dr Stransky developed a keen interest in sports medicine, the treatment of arthritis, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma, biomechanics and diabetic foot care.
An avid runner, Dr. Stransky competes in ultra marathons. Weekends you can find her exploring the greater Denver area bike trails or in the high country. Other activities she enjoys includes downhill skiing, nordic skiing, snowshoeing, rock climbing and climbing the 14ers.

Thomas Ehlers, DPM, AACFAS is the newest podiatrist on staff at Rocky Mountain Foot and Ankle Center in Arvada and Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Due to his extensive training, he is able to offer a comprehensive array of foot and ankle services. From heel pain and ingrown nails to ankle fractures, and reconstructive surgeries, Dr. Ehlers is comfortable seeing it all.
Dr. Ehlers studied integrative biology at the University of California, Berkeley before earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency at Highlands/Presbyterian-St Luke's Medical Center in Denver, CO, where he served as chief resident in his final year. He is board qualified for both foot surgery and rearfoot/reconstructive surgery. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons as well as American Podiatric Medical Association.
Outside of practice, Dr. Ehlers has an active role in furthering the education of current residents at the Highlands/Presbyterian-St Luke's program. He likes to stay involved in research, particularly when it comes to opioids and pain management after injury or surgery. In his spare time, Dr. Ehlers enjoys specialty coffee, reading, and staying active while weight lifting and playing tennis or basketball.
