Brian Pontarelli, DPM, is a board certified foot and ankle surgeon at Rhode Island Foot Care’s locations in Cumberland, North Providence, Cumberland & Johnston, Rhode Island as well as Norfolk, Massachusetts. 

Dr. Pontarelli received his Bachelor of Science in biology and minor in business administration from Providence College in Rhode Island. After high school, He attended Worcester State University where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemistry.  Following his undergraduate degree, Dr. Georges earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, he then completed a three-year Podiatric Medical and Surgical Residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he received extensive training in foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine, pediatric foot care, diabetic wound care and limb salvage.
