Dr. Melissa Hurwitz, originally from Syracuse, NY, is a graduate of D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY. She completed her doctorate degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and did her residency training at the world renowned Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. She then went on to complete her fellowship training in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery and minimally invasive bunion surgery in Naples, Florida. She is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Originally from New York, Dr. Menchin received his bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University prior to earning his doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Menchin then completed an intensive three-year residency training program in foot and ankle surgery at the Northwell Health Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Long Island, New York. Dr. Hinderland spent his childhood in several states, including Arizona, California, and Pennsylvania. He began his professional pursuits at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
He subsequently enrolled at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Hinderland completed a three-year surgical and podiatry residency at Highlands/Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. He also spent several years practicing at the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group in Rockville, Maryland, performing the group’s first-ever total ankle replacements.
