Stephanie Varghese, DPM, is a board-certified surgeon at Montgomery Podiatry, located in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania. She specializes in dermatology and minimally invasive surgery. 

As a collegiate lacrosse player injured in her final year, Dr. Varghese first found her love for podiatric medicine. She understands loving your sport and enjoys getting athletes properly rehabbed and back to their activities.

After receiving her Bachelor’s degree at Austin College in Sherman, Texas, she went on to earn her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. During her time at Temple, Dr. Varghese participated in several dermatology research projects and developed a love for diagnosing and treating skin disease, soft tissue tumors/masses, fungal infections, and wounds. She then went on to complete three years of extensive surgical training with an added certification in rearfoot reconstructive surgery at Suburban Community Hospital in East Norriton, Pennsylvania, where she was chief resident in her final year. She also completed a mini-fellowship in dermatopathology.

Dr. Varghese is also on staff at Holy Redeemer Hospital.

Dr. Mariola Rivera attended undergraduate school at University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez. She went to medical school with a Doctor in Podiatric Medicine degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine.  Her post-graduate surgical training was completed at Bellevue Hospital, a number one trauma center in New York city.

Dr. Rivera received an challenging training in medicine and surgery from patients from all over the world. Dr. Rivera has services New York city and Westchester patients and athletes after obtaining her residency training.  Dr. Rivera is a board certified physician and Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric medicine. She is also member of The American Podiatric Medical Association and New York State Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Rivera is part of the medical staff of White Plains Hospital, Mount Sinai Beth Israel, New York city. She is also on staff at Gramercy surgical Center and Surgical Specialty Center of Westchester. Dr. Rivera has an interest in the cosmetic appearance of foot conditions and mantains active training on the latest trends of treatments and surgeries. Dr.  Rivera is fully bilingual. Dr. Rivera is the founder of Aesthetic Podiatry and Sports Medicine. 

Lisa Shah, DPM, is a board-certified podiatric surgeon at Aesthetic Podiatry & Sports Medicine Center in White Plains and Purchase, New York. 

Dr. Shah attended Syracuse University for her undergraduate education. After graduating with her degree, she went on to complete her doctorate in podiatric medicine at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received her post-graduate training through a dual-residency program in podiatric medicine and surgery at Cabrini Medical Center. 

During her final year of residency, Dr. Shah was a chief surgical resident. She had extensive training in all aspects of podiatry. 

While serving patients at Aesthetic Podiatry & Sports Medicine Center, she is currently on staff at Gramercy Surgery Center and Mount Sinai Beth Israel. In addition, she enjoys giving back to the local community by participating in health clinics sponsored by The Gujarati Association of Connecticut. 

Dr. Shah is a member of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association as well as the American Podiatric Medical Association. Passionate about continuing education, she maintains ongoing training to keep on top of the newest innovations and trends in podiatric care. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Shah takes great pride in ensuring that her patients’ needs are met with compassion and understanding. 

In her free time, Dr. Shah enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She also loves to go on long hikes and play golf.

Richard Corbin, FACFAS, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist on the team of providers at Garden State Foot & Ankle Specialists, which has convenient locations in Plainfield, Scotch Plains, Springfield, and Linden, New Jersey. He’s extensively trained in a wide array of foot and ankle pathologies and specializes in conservative and surgical treatment options, including trauma and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Corbin completed the revered podiatric residency program at Hoboken University Medical Center in New Jersey, serving as chief resident. He then went on to serve as the podiatry section chief at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield, New Jersey, working in the role for over eight years until the hospital closed.

It has been over 25 years since Dr. Corbin joined Garden State Foot & Ankle Specialists, and during this time, he has served on the podiatric residency committee at two of the top programs in New Jersey at Morristown Medical Center and Hoboken University Medical Center. He’s also a staff member several local surgery centers, including Hackensack Meridian Health JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey, and Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey.

Samantha Sheppard, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist at Garden State Foot & Ankle Specialists, which has six convenient locations: Edison, Woodbridge, Plainfield, Scotch Plains, Springfield, and Linden, New Jersey. She’s highly skilled in treating all foot and ankle pathologies with both surgical and conservative treatments. 

Dr. Sheppard graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, with a dual bachelor’s degree in biology and Italian studies. She earned her medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City, graduating at the top of her class.

Dr. Sheppard went on to complete her surgical training at the Atlantic Health System’s Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey. She served as the chief resident in her third year and developed an impressive proficiency with a variety of surgical procedures, including foot and ankle trauma, diabetic Charcot reconstruction and limb salvage, flatfoot reconstruction, application of external fixation devices, ankle arthroscopy, and all forefoot pathologies.

Dr. Marianne Lants is part of Huguenot Podiatry Group PC, a practice that offers comprehensive foot and ankle care. Dr. Lants is Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine by ABPM and Board Certified in prevention and treatment of diabetic foot wounds by ABMSP. She provides state of the art care for various foot conditions such as sports injuries, arthritis, flatfeet, bunions hammer toes, nail disorders and diabetic foot care. Dr. Lants attended Long Island University and graduated Hunger College in NYC with BA in Biology. She completed her medical education at New York College of Podiatric medicine in 2004 with a degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Her post-graduate training includes an extensive three year surgical/medical residency program at Staten Island University Hospital. Subsequently she served as a clinical instructor at SIUH Diabetic Treatment Center. Dr Lants uses her expertise to provide expert care and management designed to keep patients on their feet.

Dr. Sally Beshai is an experienced Podiatric Surgeon and has received numerous awards for her work. Dr. Beshai was trained by Dr. Edward Ferdinando, DPM at the Staten Island Hospital, and continued to gain experience through a long career in private practice. Dr. Beshai has also served in the Burn, Plastic, and Vascular Surgery departments at the Staten Island Hospital, as Chief Podiatric Surgical Resident.

Dr. Beshai has a special interest in diabetic wound care and the management of osteomyelitis and amputation prevention. In addition to her leadership skills and gentle bedside manner, Dr. Beshai is very eager to learn new treatments, techniques, and publications.

Dr. Mina Baskhron is a double board-certified foot and ankle podiatric surgeon. Dr Baskhron is a leader in private practice in New York since 2014. He has performed over five thousand podiatric surgical procedures including some of the most complicated congenital and acquired foot and ankle deformities. Dr. Baskhron is one of the few foot and ankle podiatric surgeons who completed a 4-year residency training focusing only on foot & ankle pathologies. Although Dr Baskhron's focus is on diabetic foot complications, limb salvage & reconstruction, he also treats various foot & ankle disorders, sports injuries, arthritis, flatfeet, bunion and hammer toes. Dr Baskhron completed his pre-medical education at Rutgers University, then he received his medical degree from NY college of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed 4-year Foot & Ankle surigcal residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, Richmond University Medical Center, and Northwell Plainview Hospital. Dr. Baskhron sees patients at Bard Podiatry Associates and Forward foot and Ankle Associates at various lovations. He operates at Northwell Staten Island Hospital, Richmond University Medical Center, and various surgery centers in NY and NJ. Mina Beshai, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist and surgeon at Forward Foot & Ankle Associates in Staten Island and Midtown Manhattan, New York. Dr. Beshai is committed to providing professional and patient-centered foot and ankle care for patients at every age. 

Dr. Beshai was raised in Staten Island, and he completed his bachelor’s degree in psychology, minoring in chemistry, within three years at the College of Staten Island. He relocated to Harlem to obtain his doctorate in podiatric medicine and surgery at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and the Foot Center of New York. 

He received extensive training in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. After completing the program, he maintained a relationship with the clinic and is currently providing podiatric care for their pediatric department.  

Outside of his practice, Dr. Beshai enjoys walking with his two huskies and teaching them new skills. He also loves cruising on his motorcycle.

Innjea Park, DPM, FACPM, AACFAS is a board-certified podiatrist and surgeon at Forward Foot & Ankle Associates in Staten Island and Midtown Manhattan, New York. Dr. Park also specializes in foot and ankle care, including diabetes-related issues, wound care, sports medicine, and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Park is trilingual in English, Korean, and Japanese. He believes that all patients should be treated with respect, honesty, and professionalism.

Dr. Park attended New York University and obtained his bachelor’s degree in economics and pre-med, with a minor in East Asian studies, concentrating on the Japanese language. He then received a master’s in biomedical science at the Graduate School of Biomedical Studies at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He earned his doctor of podiatric medicine degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he also co-founded and led the school’s Asian American Podiatric Student Association.

Upon graduation, Dr. Park continued to hone his skills during a three-year surgical residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he served as chief resident during his third year. During this residency, he obtained experience in areas including emergency medicine, foot trauma, pediatric podiatry, vascular surgery, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, and infectious diseases.

Dr. Park is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and the New York State Podiatric Medical Association. He also has been published in professional medical journals.

Antonious Eskandar, DPM, is an experienced podiatrist at Advanced Foot Care, LLC, in East Orange, New Jersey. Dr. Eskandar completed his undergraduate degree at The College of Staten Island in New York in 2005, majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry. Aamir Ahmed, DPM, is a fellowship-trained, board-eligible foot and ankle surgeon with extensive training in reconstructive surgery. He currently sees patients at Ankle & Foot Doctors of New Jersey in Millburn, Westfield, and Union, New Jersey.

Dr. Ahmed earned his medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine after graduating cum laude with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biomedical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He completed his three-year surgical residency at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic, New Jersey, where he gained surgical experience in adult foot and ankle reconstruction, trauma, arthritic joints, Achilles tendon reconstruction, arthroscopy, Charcot neuroarthropathy, and diabetic limb salvage, with advanced training techniques in wound care.

The following year, Dr. Ahmed went on to complete a pediatric foot and ankle fellowship at The Pediatric Orthopedic Center in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey, under the mentorships of Dr. Mark Solomon and Dr. Mark Rieger. There, he gained experience treating children with foot and ankle congenital deformities, sprains, fractures, growth plate injuries, as well as sports and dance injuries. Some pediatric conditions that Dr. Ahmed has managed and treated include equinovarus deformities (clubfoot), toe walkers, in-toeing, flatfoot, high arch foot, ankle sprains/fractures, and brachymetatarsia.

His fellowship also included advanced and specialized training in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgical techniques, including minimally invasive bunion surgery and gradual deformity correction with the Ilizarov hexapod external fixator. With such a vast background, Dr. Ahmed is well-equipped to treat foot and ankle conditions for all ages.

Dr. Ahmed is also active in training the next generation of foot and ankle surgeons, educating and mentoring podiatric residents at Saint Barnabas Medical Center.

His hobbies include playing sports, fitness, and nutrition, and spending time with his family and newborn daughter. As a big foodie, Dr. Ahmed enjoys eating out with family and friends.
