Board-certified podiatrist, Rolando Melendez, DPM brings more than a decade of experience in podiatry and foot and ankle surgery to New York City Ankle & Foot. He serves men, women, and families at two convenient locations in Jackson Heights and Woodside Queens.
Dr. Melendez began his professional education at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in industrial microbiology. He subsequently moved to the United States and enrolled at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.
Following graduation, Dr. Melendez accepted a residency position at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania. Dr. Chandrani graduated cum laude with a BA in Biology from New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ. He received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City and completed his three-year surgical residency at the Department of Veterans Affairs - New Jersey Healthcare System in East Orange, NJ, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year.

Mina Beshai, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist and surgeon at Forward Foot & Ankle Associates in Staten Island and Midtown Manhattan, New York. Dr. Beshai is committed to providing professional and patient-centered foot and ankle care for patients at every age.
Dr. Beshai was raised in Staten Island, and he completed his bachelor’s degree in psychology, minoring in chemistry, within three years at the College of Staten Island. He relocated to Harlem to obtain his doctorate in podiatric medicine and surgery at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and the Foot Center of New York.
He received extensive training in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. After completing the program, he maintained a relationship with the clinic and is currently providing podiatric care for their pediatric department.

Dr. Sally Beshai is an experienced Podiatric Surgeon and has received numerous awards for her work. Dr. Beshai has also served in the Burn, Plastic, and Vascular Surgery departments at the Staten Island Hospital, as Chief Podiatric Surgical Resident.

Dr. Mina Baskhron is a double board-certified foot and ankle podiatric surgeon. Dr Baskhron is a leader in private practice in New York since 2014. He has performed over five thousand podiatric surgical procedures including some of the most complicated congenital and acquired foot and ankle deformities. Dr. Baskhron is one of the few foot and ankle podiatric surgeons who completed a 4-year residency training focusing only on foot & ankle pathologies. Although Dr Baskhron's focus is on diabetic foot complications, limb salvage & reconstruction, he also treats various foot & ankle disorders, sports injuries, arthritis, flatfeet, bunion and hammer toes.
