Dr. Rathod-Bhatt studied in New York City and received her Bachelor of Science in biology from Saint John’s University in Hillcrest, Queens. She later earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from New York University located in Washington Square Park, Manhattan.

Dr. Childers is a native Texan and was raised in Colleyville where she attended Grapevine High School and Texas A&M University in College Station. Dr. Childers graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. After suffering a severe ankle sprain while playing soccer in college, she sought treatment from a local podiatrist. The podiatrist inspired her to want to learn more, so she chose to shadow him as a way to expand her knowledge.
Following graduation, Dr. Childers moved to San Francisco, California, where she attended the California College of Podiatric Medicine. She eventually received the Phillip Gardner Award for Outstanding Student in Podiatric Medicine and remained in San Francisco to complete a three-year surgical residency program at the San Francisco Bay Area Foot and Ankle Residency Program at Kaiser Permanente. During her residency, Dr. Childers was involved in multiple research projects and co-authored several papers published in the Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery and the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
In 2008, Dr. Childers accepted a position with a large multi-specialty group in Sacramento, California, where she practiced podiatry until 2013. She served in several leadership positions as vice president of the Sacramento Valley Podiatric Medical Association and on the Academic Affairs Committee for the group from 2011 - 2013.

Ricky Childers, DPM, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon who founded North Central Texas Foot & Ankle, with two locations in Decatur and Roanoke, Texas, in 2014.
Dr. Childers was born and raised in West Virginia. He enlisted in the United States Navy after high school, where his initial interest in the foot and ankle occurred after fracturing his ankle participating in a special forces unit in Airborne School. Dr. Childers went on to serve in the Gulf War and is now a proud veteran and was an officer in the Navy Reserves, serving 16 years.
While in the Navy Reserves, Dr. Childers earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences completed at the University of Nevada, Reno. He then went on to attend the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California, where he was awarded Outstanding Student in Podiatric Surgery from his class. Dr. Childers remained in San Francisco to complete a three-year surgical residency program at St. Mary’s Hospital.
He also completed a fellowship in Redwood City with San Francisco professional sports teams. In addition to this fellowship, he completed two more in Kurgan, Russia (external fixation), and Lugano, Switzerland. After completing his training in 2006, Dr. Childers accepted a position at a large multi-specialty group in Sacramento, California.
He is also a member of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons. He performs all types of nerve surgery to the lower extremity, such as for entrapped nerves, injured nerves, and neuropathy. To become a member, you must have been invited and completed the nerve course as well as perform a number of nerve-related cases.
