Dr. Santander is a fellowship-trained surgeon in foot and ankle reconstruction, revision, and limb preservation.

He is a diplomate of both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine with additional qualifications in foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery.

Dr. Santander has served in the medical field from the age of 17 when he enlisted in the United States Army in a Combat Support Hospital and deployed during Operation Enduring Freedom. Upon returning, Dr. Santander attended UCLA before earning his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in California and completing a three-year podiatric surgical residency at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital/Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C. Armen Hagopjanian, DPM, FACFAS, is a foot and ankle surgeon practicing at Los Angeles Institute of Foot and Ankle Surgery, which has locations in Burbank, Santa Clarita, and Northridge, California.
