Growing up in Texas for much of her life, Dr. Lakhani’s interest in podiatry and foot surgery began when she was still an undergraduate at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, where she studied chemistry. Immediately after graduation, Dr. Lakhani began her medical studies at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, where she earned her doctorate in podiatric medicine in 2008.
Dr. Lakhani moved back to Texas to complete her podiatric surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Center. Soon after her residency ended in 2011, Dr. Lakhani joined Gonzaba Medical Group in Houston, where she treated patients for two years before relocating to Baytown in 2013 to work at Jacinto Medical Group.
