Axis Integrated Mental Health specializes in mood disorders, including major depressive disorder, seasonal affective disorder, postpartum depression, treatment-resistant depression, teenage depression, bipolar disorder, and COVID depression, a condition affecting people with COVID-19.
The Axis Integrated Mental Health team uses proven treatments like medication management and talk therapy, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and couples therapy. The team also offers patients effective alternative treatments that are often covered by insurance, including ketamine infusions and Spravato® esketamine nasal spray.
Drug-free approaches are available at Axis Integrated Mental Health as part of its focus on de-prescribing. These treatments include nutritional psychiatry coaching, acupuncture, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) — the practice is the only clinic in Colorado providing TMS for Medicaid patients.
Student mental health services and step-down care are also available.

Medical mental health assistance isn't a magic wand. But I can say that without Dr. Bryce's persistence in pursuing a treatment that works for me (though it isn't and can't be perfect), I wouldn't be where I am today. The depth of my bouts with depression are not so deep, and the duration of times when I'm not really able to engage with life are much shorter. I've become one of the most relied upon people by my employer, and I've even been able to make significant progress toward a master's degree, among other side benefits of better mental health.
