Bluewater Orthopedics has been providing expert orthopedic and sports medicine care to the communities of Niceville, Crestview, and Destin, Florida, since 1993. The team of experienced orthopedic surgeons and clinical staff diagnose and treat a comprehensive range of musculoskeletal injuries and diseases.
Bluewater Orthopedics offers a traditional approach to healing issues that cause knee pain, hip pain, shoulder pain, and more. They begin with a thorough exam and diagnostic testing before recommending any treatments. The team often begins with conservative approaches, including medicine and physical therapy. Although, the experienced surgeons also offer minimally invasive arthroscopy procedures and joint replacements when surgery is required.
The surgeons are also avid athletes and sports fans. They provide extensive sports medicine services to athletes of all abilities. In addition to treating common sports injuries like sprains, ACL tears, and rotator cuff injuries, they help athletes improve their fitness and performance.

Dr. Fox was very through about what I would experience with surgery.
The appointment was on time and thorough. The doctor again discussed my options for treatment but recommended I continue as I am currently. He was very professional and made sure I understood that he was available should my condition worsen. I was pleased that x-rays were taken so that there is a baseline. Overall I continue to be very pleased with the doctor and his entire staff.
Everyone is very polite very thoughtful. There’s never a long waiting time which I appreciate Dr. Makowski explains everything in detail which I also appreciate.

Dr. Fox is the BEST!!!! The office folks are AWESOME!!! They worked me in for an appointment right away after my fall. Everyone there is so caring and listens to you! Dr. Fox is an absolute Miracle doctor! I was in so much pain in my knee and could not stand on it. He drained it and asked me to stand up and I did without all the pain I had when I walked in his office!!! Absolutely Amazing!! Dr. Fox Knows what he is doing with No doubts whatsoever!! I can’t wait for him to do surgery on my knee because I feel 100% safe and confident under his care. He definitely has a natural God given talent!!!

Dr Markowski installed me a new hip about 3 years ago. The 77 year old man is 22 years old now. Absolutely wonderful!!! His continuing care is the best. Also he has been oiling up my shoulders. I am able to work with the young men. His staff is great also!!❤️❤️
