Daniel Buchan, DO, is a fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity orthopedic surgeon at Bluewater Orthopedics in Destin, Niceville, and Crestview, FL. He takes care of a broad scope of orthopedic injuries and ailments but has special training in complex upper extremity problems, including joint replacements, fractures, nerve, tendon, and soft tissue injuries.
Dr. Buchan completed his undergraduate degree at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, and earned his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. Dr. Buchan finished his orthopedic surgery residency at OhioHealth in Columbus and his hand surgery fellowship at Kettering Health Network in Dayton.

When Dr. Buchan is not working, he dedicates much of his time to his wife, Maureen, and his three young children Reed, Olive, and Hattie. He is the Best!
It's a very nice hospital. I had the best surgeon you could ask for. Dr Daniel Buchan. The whole staff were awesome. I treat everybody like they would want to be treated. I would recommend anyone going to Twin Cities Hospital over any around near us just due to the courtesy of the workers and how good they are do their job thank you and I appreciate Dr .Buchan for doing my surgery before he went back home

From the front desk, X-ray Tech to Doctor. Very thorough, Kind, and gentle. Wait was not long between X-ray and seeing the Doctor.
Friendly and professional staff greet you cheerfully once you enter the office. No wait time at all for me, maybe 5 seconds! Then off to see doc! An assistant immediately came in to jot down the particulars and when she left, a very brief moment later, doc Buchan was ready to Speak with me and listened to me, examined my rebellious knee, and offered options for treatment. Very kind and he knows how to be a people person at the same time he excellent in his field. I would definitely recommend him! Even the gal at check out was super sweet!
