The Center for Dental Excellence East Lake is a full-service family dentistry practice serving the community of Tarpon Springs, Florida, and the surrounding region. Under the leadership of Courtney Nowicki, DDS, MS, FICOI and Robert Christ, DMD, FAGD, FICOI, the practice has earned a reputation for excellence.
Team members share a dedication to personalized care, and a love for welcoming entire families to the practice. Preventive dentistry is a foundation of the practice. Routine dental exams and professional cleanings are a great starting point. Advanced technology guides all diagnostic and treatment processes.
The office is equipped with a 3D cone beam scanner, iTero® Element II as well as the newest iTero® Element 5D intraoral scanners (with near-infrared technology to detect decay before it can be seen on the digital X-rays, and VELscope® oral cancer screening technology.
Additionally, they have Dentrix Digital X-ray system. When a patient needs restorative dentistry, the team prefers a conservative approach, making every effort to preserve as much healthy tooth structure as possible when performing fillings, root canals, crowns, and inlays or onlays.
Orthodontic evaluations are a routine part of our patient examinations because incorrect alignment of the teeth (bad bite) results in a host of problems to the teeth and jaws throughout one’s life. Improving the function of the teeth by correcting alignment issues early on, helps patients keep their teeth and gums healthy for a lifetime. Clear aligner therapy (Invisalign®) is used to correct these issues. At the Center for Dental Excellence East Lake. Doctor Nowicki Is undoubtedly the Best Dentist I have been to. Her professionalism and make you feel comfortable are outstanding. She explains in great detail what she is doing. I had a scan for Invisalign and Dawn was very thorough and answered all my questions. All the staff at Dr. Christ's office are always friendly and helpful. Of course I can't say enough about how much I appreciate all that Dr. Christ has done for me.
I am frightful of having dental work done without sedation. It hasn't been a problem here. I had a crown done for my most recent visit and had absolutely no pain during or after. There was a little twitch with the shot she gave me in my gum but it was very brief. I am always treated like a queen. I am always taken at my appointed time. The staff does a great scheduling job and tries really hard to ensure that my insurer pays what I am owed. Dr. Nowick is professional, kind, understanding and a joy to have as a dentist.
I have had a great experience with the entire staff at this practice. Thank you all for making an unpleasant situation tolerable.

Dr. Nowicki and the whole staff is great. I've seen her for all my dental work over the last couple years from a regular exam with x-rays to a crown and more extensive work.

I needed an emergency crown put on a wisdom tooth. I was given an appointment on the day I called, and my crown preparation was also done that day. Dr Nowicki and the staff were wonderful.

Dr Christ is always very kind and informative when I go in for my cleanings and fillings. I have had a few fillings since making this dental practice as my permanent dentist, and I have never felt that he was trying to make more money off of me than was necessary. I went in very nervous after avoiding dentists for years because of them trying to scam me. He is also very gentle with my teeth and I have never felt any discomfort. He recommended me to get a root canal and gave me a referral. The referral endodontist did not accept my insurance carrier; however, Dr Christ still called the endodontist that does accept my insurance to update them on what is going on with my tooth. So I feel less nervous going in knowing they’ve spoken. The dental assistant was so sweet when I was being numbed, and even lightly rubbed my shoulder to distract me from the slight pinch. Thank you so much for helping me take better care of my teeth.
