She was unprofessional. She asked me once beforehand if I was sexually active, I said I was & was on birth control, but since I’ve gotten off birth control in the past thirty days, I had not been sexually active in the past 30 days. She decided not to take a urine test from me. The doctor asks during the procedure while I’m sedated, why didn’t you take a urine test from her? She says “the patient didn’t want to, I asked her TWICE if she was sexually active” and they fuss about it, making me think something has gone wrong or I was pregnant, adding to the stress of the situation. I feel like this was so unprofessional of the nurse to lie to the doctor about how many times she asked me if I was sexually active, in front of me while I’m sedated with a speculum inside of me… it made the experience so stressful. Then she asked me after the procedure to “pee in a cup just in case”. The experience was painless but that whole interaction made it stressful.
