About Abid Lakhani

Major life events and changes can be overwhelming, but can also be powerful periods of transition. Having a space to reflect intentionally during this time and at any time can be empowering. I’d like to help create that space for you.

My approach to therapy is friendly, inquisitive and integrative, meaning we collaborate at your own speed, utilizing an array of skills from CBT/DBT and psychodynamic theory. By processing your past history with me, we can explore new perspectives about them to create a new narrative. I know it's easy to feel stuck, ruminate on the "what-ifs" or not know how to proceed and I can be your consultant on this journey.

Self-care is also important to living a well-rounded, peaceful life. You deserve the type of life you want to achieve and I believe therapy is a way to do that healthily. Let's do it together by helping you find a sense of ease navigating through it all.
