About Adam Mccann, MD

Dr. McCann grew up in Manhattan, KS and then attended Kansas State University, graduating summa cum laude in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with minors in Spanish Language and Biology. For the entirety of his undergraduate studies, he was listed on the Dean’s Honor Roll and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society in his final year.
He then attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, graduating with honors in 2018. During his medical school education, he was elected to the Gold Humanism Honor Society for his leadership in the JayDoc Student-Run Free Clinic and was also elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.
Following medical school, he completed residency training in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in 2023. This was followed by a prestigious fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. McCann is excited to return to Kansas to practice otolaryngology as well as the full breadth of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, including: cosmetic surgery, reconstruction of head and neck cancer defects, facial trauma, functional nasal surgery, and treatment of facial nerve disorders. When not at work he enjoys running, reading, brewing beer, and cheering on the Chiefs, Royals and Sporting KC, and spending time with his family including his two-year-old daughter, Liliana.
