Dr. Dayan is very warm. He also explains clearly and extensively. Although the wait was a bit longer, but it was all worth it. The front desk staff were also very accommodating. The only negative I had experienced was with the X-rShow moreay technician. She was very impatient and seemed unwelcoming. She did not give her instructions clearly. When I asked for a material to cover and protect my body, she replied: “I don’t know why you are so concerned with covering your body when this machine is made in the 21st century!” It was appalling. She should have explained to me why the covering is no longer needed. Besides, I just want to be proactive by protecting my body from this radiation. I do not know what is wrong with that. Besides, it is my right to ask for one. She seemed to be rushing but her instructions were not clearly given. I hope she knows this.

I also had the pleasure of being treated by his PA Natalia, who is a wealth of knowledge and extremely helpful and throughly explained my issue and the care that coincides with it. The wait is very reasonable, only a short while after my scheduled appointment due to patients arriving late and messing up their schedule! I am extremely satisfied with this doctor and have had only positive experiences while here and I highly recommend this practice. Five stars!

Dr. Dayan began earning his reputation for excellence as an undergraduate at the James Striar School, Yeshiva University, in New York City, where he served as valedictorian and graduated summa cum laude. He went on to earn his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York in 1991.
After earning his medical degree, Dr. Dayan completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in orthopedic surgery at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he served as chief resident. He also performed a fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York (now New York University Langone Orthopedic Hospital), where he has been an active member for over 20 years.
In addition to his private orthopedic practice, Dr. Dayan also served as medical director of NYU Langone’s Samuels Orthopedic Immediate Care Center, and is currently a clinical assistant professor at the New York University Medical Center. He is distinguished as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery (FAAOS) and in 1996, the Guardians of the Sick in Brooklyn, New York, proclaimed Dr. Dayan “Physician of the Year.”
Dr. Dayan is an associate editor for the Orthopedic Bulletin, and his research is published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals.

Dr. Dayan is very knowledgeable, courteous and caring. Although he is a surgeon, Dr. Dayan tries to exhaust the lesser invasive forms of treatment, if appropriate, before recommending surgery. He discusses diagnoses and treatment options with the patient and encourages questions. I highly recommend Dr. Dayan.
