About Alex Nelson, PA

Alex grew up in a large military family traveling the country and world before settling in Texas. In 2005 Alex moved to Utah to attend school. He earned undergraduate degrees from Brigham Young University, before attending the University of Utah’s School of Medicine PA Program. Alex has been practicing as a PA for many years and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Utah Academy of Physician Assistants. He has a special interest in Dermatology and considers himself fortunate to work alongside Dr. Forsha at Jordan Valley Dermatology. The skin is the body’s largest and most visible organ. Alex believes that taking good care of the skin is essential to having a confident, happy, and healthy quality of life. He sees and treats a variety of dermatological conditions and is also involved in helping Dr. Forsha conduct clinical research for novel dermatology medications. In his spare time Alex enjoys staying active, exploring new places, and learning new things. He also enjoys spending time in Utah’s beautiful outdoors with his growing and energetic family.
