The entire experience was "top notch" from beginning to end! I was following Dr. Stephens on YouTube for a while after I realized that she specialized in dealing with people with hyperpigmentation. I literally traveled to the US Show moreto see her and to receive treatment and a regimen that I can return to my home and use. Along with Dr. Stephens, Rhonda, Gina and Kim all made me feel welcome and important...as if I was their only customer. They took the time to explain the procedures they were going to do before actually doing it and their personalities were all pleasant. Nothing impressed me more than seeing them "walk the talk"! Their faces all glowed and it looked as if they were wearing little to no make-up at all and that gave me hope. I would catch a flight any day to visit Parkland Dermatology again. At her private practice, Dr. Stephens offers several popular skin rejuvenating treatments. Her repertoire includes microneedling, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion. Before settling down in South Florida, Dr. Stephens completed an extensive education in skincare that began at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. After earning her medical degree there, she moved south to Plantation, Florida, for specialized fellowship training in pigmented lesions. She went on to complete further dermatology training as a resident at Nova Southeastern University in Broward County, Florida, where she quickly rose to the top of her class and became chief resident. During her time there, she also was awarded the title of resident of the year.
Dr. Stephens has worked hard to create a modern and welcoming environment for a diverse group of patients, accepting new and returning patients alike. She hopes to empower them, not only with gorgeously natural-looking results, but with the knowledge they need to care for their skin outside of the office. My younger sister is Dr Stephens' patient, she started seeing results a couple of days after her first visit, so she encouraged me to try her myself.
