Amir Aftab, MD, is an internist and primary care provider at Reliable Primary Care and Wellness in Henderson, Nevada.
Dr. Aftab completed his Internal Medicine residency at North Shore university hospoital, in New York. He relocated to Las Vegas in 2004 and has practiced as a hospitalist in most of the valley's acute hospitals. Dr. Aftab has also served as an assistent professor with the school of medicine at UMC hospital for about two years. He has also provided care in many of the valley's sub acute facilities including long term acute hospitals, acute rehabilitation hopsitals and skilled nursing facilities. Over the years he has also served as a medical director in many sub acute facilities as well.
Dr. Aftab has spent many years learning and perfecting his practice to ensure that his patients optimize their health and wellness. He has substantial, diverse experince in providing care to patients of all ages from early adulthood through end of life care. Amir works primarily with western medicine practices, utilizing the importance of national practice guidelines. Recently, Dr. Aftab has taken an interest in holistic medicine as well and works to provide additional resources and treatment options to patients with a more naturalistic approach.
