Annie Chan, FNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Duo Wellness Rejuvenation in Washington, DC. She works with teens and adults to develop customized solutions that maximize inner well-being and outer beauty using both an Eastern and Western approach to medicine.
Annie earned her Bachelor of Science in chemistry and graduated cum laude from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. She graduated one year early to study Chinese Studies in Beijing, China, which was the beginning of her passion for alternative medicine. She continued her education at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in nursing.
After several years of working as a Registered Nurse in emergency departments and neonatal intensive care units nationwide, Annie returned to school. She earned her Master of Science in nursing from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts, and graduated magna cum laude.
As a nurse practitioner, Annie worked with Forward Healthcare as a remote nurse practitioner and in the emergency department at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC, before opening Duo Wellness Rejuvenation with her co-founder, Marissa Rehman, FNP-BC. She has also held several volunteer positions, including caring for orphans with congenital disorders while abroad, organizing a medical team to aid refugees at the Mexico-US border, and traveling to Ukraine to provide medical care for refugees.
At Duo Wellness Rejuvenation, Annie offers medical weight loss management supported by advanced analysis, vitamin injections, and more to ensure patients get the most from treatment. Her goal is to promote longevity, health, and anti-aging medicine to improve quality of life and confidence. She also specializes in aesthetic services, including botox, fillers, laser treatment, microneedling, chemical facials, and hair restoration with platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
Annie is certified in medical weight loss management and aesthetic medicine by the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine.
