Let me start off by saying I met the wonderful Dr Arien J Smith by being involved in a MVA which left me paralyzed and airlifted I was in deep trouble with my condition (L1-L5 lumbar fractures) complete burst fractures essentiallyShow more , The spinal fragments were getting wedged in my canal and pressing on the cord itself so Dr Smith went in like a Divine Angelic GOD sent Being and like a Game of Operation meticulously put the pieces back together by cleaning out the damaged bone fragments and installing a structure known as a V Tech Cage in order to Sustain my Lumbar and Spine , he is the best on Earth and If it wasn’t for him I would have lost my life , devastating my 8 year old child who was only 2 at the time , thank You Dr Smith for saving me And Seeing my Resilience this man is extremely perceptive and intuitive and Is Ordained and Blessed by GOD to heal the sick , I would not have wanted any other person to operate on me because what he did is still shocking to me I am still processing it all , Thank you so much Doctor Smith you saved my Life !!! #1 Surgeon is the World is way more than a ☕️ Coffee mug for you , you truly are the best Surgeon on this Earth . Arien Smith, MD, FACS, is a fellowship-trained and board-certified neurosurgeon at the Brain and Spine Institute of New York and New Jersey, located in East Brunswick, New Jersey. His practice includes treating both adult and pediatric spinal and brain disorders.
Dr. Smith graduated from Yale University Medical School of Medicine in 2003. He then completed a neurosurgical residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center Department of Neurosurgery. He rounded out his medical training with an additional orthopedic complex spine fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. I’m a patient of DR Smith, he performed my lower back surgery. He’s a professional and a very talented surgeon. Your are in good hands with Dr Smith. He is very caring, courteous and puts the patient first. Also his support staff are excellent as well all the way from the office manager to front desk staff very cordial and easy to deal with.
