Ashley Calanni of Dermatology & Laser Center of San Diego is a Certified Physician Assistant specialized in dermatology and venous disease. She previously worked in La Jolla specializing in vein disorders and has since transitioned into cosmetic and medical dermatology. She moved to San Diego from Redding, CA to attend SDSU in 2009. Ashley graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Anthropology, which she pursued while studying abroad for 6 months in Malta. During this time, she attended a three-week medical mission in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania providing aid and treatment to surrounding villages with a local physician. After working for the Red Cross of San Diego and volunteering in local hospitals in her hometown, she attended Western University of Health Sciences where she graduated with her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She is a member of the San Diego Society of Physician Assistants and active within the community.
