About Ashley Chambers

Ashley Chambers, MHA, LRT/CTRS is a highly skilled clinician with a wealth of experience in the mental health and substance use industry, specializing as a licensed and nationally certified recreational therapist. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in recreational therapy from the University of North Carolina Wilmington followed by her master’s in healthcare administration to further augment her expertise. Ashley also works in the clinical research industry, where she has developed a profound interest in CNS research, with a specific focus on a broad spectrum of psychiatric disorders.

Ashley is deeply committed to delivering exceptional care to individuals seeking mental health services, and she strives to accomplish goals that optimize patient outcomes at every stage of their journey. Her extensive background in recreational therapy has honed her leadership abilities, effective communication skills, adaptability, and creative problem-solving aptitude. Throughout her career, she has amassed substantial experience in diverse inpatient settings across North Carolina, including acute hospitals, residential care facilities, and alcohol and drug abuse treatment centers.

In her leisure time, Ashley enjoys spending quality time with her family, cooking, traveling, and engaging in do-it-yourself projects.
