While the dentist and dental staff were great, the reception staff was not. Didn’t ask for my insurance even though it had changed, didn’t check that my address was still the same as what they had on file, did not help me scheduleShow more a next appointment. If I hadn’t asked them any of these questions before leaving the office, they would have let me walk out and not have bothered to see if any of my information was still correct, and would have billed the wrong insurance and sent the bill to an old address. If front-desk staff was more thorough it would have been a better experience.
Dr. Patti is thorough, efficient and professional. She is always honest about my dental health and does not try to upsell me on the latest trends. I self pay even though my Kaiser plan includes Delta Dental, because 3 generations Show moreof my family and many of our relatives all are treated by Dr. Patti and her father, Dr. Baldwin Louie.
Baldwin Louie, DDS was raised in San Francisco. He attended Francisco Middle School, Lowell High School, then UC Berkeley. He attended dental school at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. Dr. Louie truly enjoys dentistry and has been practicing for over 30 years! He was former Co-Chair of the Dental Health & Education Committee for the San Francisco Dental Society. He is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Northern California Asian Dental Association.
In his spare time he enjoys attending Cal football and basketball games (Dr. Louie is an AVID Cal fan), has recently re-discovered a passion for skiing, and spending time with his friends and family.

They were able to squeeze me in last minute due to pain and after taking an xray, found out there was an infection on my wisdom tooth. Dr. Louie was able to extract it same day to relieve me of my pain. I was in and out of the office within 30 min.
