I was satisfied with Dr. Harris’ response to my crisis. I asked the aid who got me checked in if I could have some water as I was very upset and she said they didn’t have any. Then when she was asking me sensitive questions (date Show moreof last period and how many miscarriages I’d had) I would answer and she would challenge me. Then she would offer her corrected answer which was the same that I had previously stated. Also, Dr. Harris was examining me at length which was painful and I did not know what she was doing. I wish she would have informed me. Another suggestion is that when a patient is having a miscarriage and is very emotional, there should be a private room she could wait it. I was sitting in the waiting rooms hysterical with all of these pregnant woman, which wasn’t good for me or them. Lastly, I have been in so much pain over the weekend with this miscarriage and have no pain medication.
Although I was please with Dr. Martin from my previous visits. I love Dr. Bonsor. My experiences with her are excellent. She is thorough with my examinations, the medical advice she provides, and the consultation afterwards. In sShow morepecific, she asked about issues other than GYN for instance: ensuring that I am following up on my colonoscopy and breast examinations. Also, she suggested I see a breast surgeon when I told her about several mammogram I'd had. She told me I should see someone who would actually touch the breast to figure out what is going on. I didn't feel rushed and I felt like she is was concerned with my well being to as far as to want my breast exam records from the VA. No other doctor has done that. I am very please and will continue to schedule my appointment with her. I feel my GYN health concerns are in very competent hands with her. Thank you Dr. Bonsor!
Benita Bonser, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who’s been on the team at Southern Crescent Women’s HealthCare since 2003. She currently sees patients at the practice’s locations in Fayetteville and Stockbridge, Georgia, and is passionate about preventative medicine and the prevention of teenage pregnancy.
Dr. Bonser earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, completed her residency at the Michigan State University-affiliated Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and did a fellowship in Nigeria. She’s since continued her education with a number of different postgraduate courses on subjects such as menopause management and colposcopy with the treatment of precancerous cervical conditions. She’s also pursued further training in various surgical techniques.
Dr. Bonser is as passionate about educating others and she is about educating herself. She teaches a popular seminar called “Healthy Body -- Healthy Soul” along with Pete Thomas, the weight loss guru from NBC’s “The Biggest Loser.” Together, the two of them help people find pathways to permanent weight loss and healthier life choices.
Outside of work, Dr. Bonser enjoys the diversity of Atlanta with her husband and their two children.

Excellent professional, excellent staff service, great people.
This doctor was very rude and very unsympathetic with the situation that I was going through. I actually had a silent miscarriage, and she was very, very unsympathetic to what was going on, and I felt like she could’ve been more sympathetic. How she approached the situation was really rude. She also rudely state the facts which was hard to come by and deal with it at that time, but she was very rude and I actually suggested not to deal with her anymore because of her rudeness at the front desk. I would suggest the practice because I’ve had awesome doctors in the past Michelle, Bradney was an awesome doctor and the doctor I have now is awesome. Her name is khristie, they’re both really good doctors but this one right here I just I would not recommend her unless you want somebody very unsympathetic to whatever you’re going through.

I’ve been going to Southern Crescent for a few years now. They delivered my third child. I recently went for something non pregnancy related and saw Dr Bonser. She was so kind and listened and explained thoroughly her professional opinion. Her bed side manner was amazing. That doesn’t happen often in the medical industry however most of the staff there is amazing and I also love Kristiana Gregg. This office will take care of you and make you feel safe and welcome.
