Dr. Joel is very thorough. She explained my test results and my medical plan of action in great detail. She exhibited an interest and concern for me as more than just a patient. She is one of those few medical professionals thaShow moret sees you as a person first and than as her patient. She listens to her patients, which I believe not the case in some medical professionals I have encountered over the years. She is very knowledgeable and appears to be current with changes is medicine. I live 70 miles from her office and look forward to each of my wellness visits. I feel she will be my primary physician for the rest of my life. I cannot fathom changing her as my primary physician.
Dr. Joel is lovely, very kind and empathetic, as is her office staff. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was I waited about an hour and 15 minutes past my appointment to be seen. I have only been in once at this time so I can'Show moret say if this is to be expected with every visit. I appreciated Dr. Joel so much I will still be back but maybe different scheduling could address the significant wait times.

Dr.Joel is very nice and listens to what you are saying. She explains what she thinks is going on. She sends you to specialist, or sends you for testing to determine for sure what is going on.
Dr. Joel is very caring and attentive. She actively listened and addressed my concerns with empathy and in detail until I felt comfortable with all treatments and information.
As always Dr. Joel is thorough as well as kind. She pays attention to details and is an expert in giving needed advice. I needed a steroid injection for bursitis for pain relief. Normally it works like a charm but this time I’m still experiencing pain, however, so I will have to follow up with her on this issue.
