I left with my digit and toenail antiseptically bandaged and covered with a nice toe sock. Note that this was an unplanned, quickly scheduled visit. The good doctor made time in her busy schedule to physically examine my injury. That’s a rare but much appreciated, “old fashioned” approach to patient care.
Appointment went very well. Never met Brenda before but she was very informative and provided me with information about my foot issue and will try this for the next 2 weeks. Brenda Cohen, DPM, is an experienced podiatrist and co-founder of Precision Podiatry, with three locations, in Round Rock, Cedar Park, and the River Place neighborhoods of Austin, Texas.
Dr. Cohen received her undergraduate degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She then earned her doctorate at California College of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland. While participating in the diabetic limb salvage fellowship at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, she trained with renowned diabetic specialists from around the country.
As an active competitive runner who has completed more than a dozen marathons in addition to several trail ultramarathons, Dr. Cohen is well aware of the importance of maintaining good podiatric health.
