It was great. Dr Dierckman is a wonderful Dr . I am so thankful that he was on call the day I was needing surgery for my broken hip. He was caring and explained everything in detail what the surgery would consist of . The office vShow moreisits were just as great, the office staff was so friendly and eager to help in any way. We arrived early at just about every appointment due to having to drive 2 hours to the office . They usually took us right in and were so nice. The longest wait in the waiting room was approx 5-10 minutes , the wait in the exam room was the same . All the X-ray personnel were also wonderful. I would recommend Dr Dierckman and his office very high a 10- out of 10! Great surgeon I had no problems at all ! Spends quality time in exam room explaining the healing process and showing and explaining the X-rays!
This is a special Doctor - I came back to him because he found a solution to a back issue I had had for a couple of years with my back - root cause was piriformis muscle syndrome- I recently had a fall and went to the er where I wShow moreas admitted to the hospital and the attending diagnosed a pelvic fracture and I was sent home but in a couple of days I began to be concerned there was something else - - made an appt with dr. Dierckman and he saw on the c.t scan two other breaks on my sacroiliac- there is more to the story but let me say I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Brian Dierckman!!
Brian Dierckman, MD, specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the knee, hip, and shoulder for both adults and children. Dr. Dierckman currently sees patients at Elite Sports Medicine + Orthopedics’ Brentwood and Franklin locations.
He received his Doctor of Medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his surgery internship and residency at Emory University Department of Orthopedics. He then went on to complete a fellowship in sports medicine at Southern California Orthopedic Institute (SCOI) in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Dierckman spent four years at SCOI before joining Elite Sports Medicine + Orthopedics.
Prior to medical school, Dr. Dierckman attended the University of Notre Dame, where he played collegiate football. He has continued his love of sport by acting as a team physician for schools in Indiana and California. Dr. Dierckman routinely lectures and teaches around the country, training other surgeons in cutting-edge techniques of the hip.
Dr. Dierckman’s specialties include hip impingement and labral tears, hip dysplasia, arthritis of the hip and knee, knee ligament tears, meniscus and cartilage injuries, rotator cuff tears, bursitis, shoulder, labral tears and instability, anterior approach hip replacement with computer navigation, periacetabular osteotomy, hip arthroscopy including labral reconstruction, cartilage and meniscus repair/reconstruction/transplant in the knee, multi-ligamentous and revision ACL knee surgery.

Great advice
All the doctors, nurses, and other staff were really nice, professional, and did an all around great job! They even were very accommodating to and supportive of my current breastfeeding requirements. They allowed me to pump/breastfeed right before my surgery. I'm currently recovering, but so far it's going well. I definitely recommend Dr Dieckman and his staff for anyone having issues with they're hip.

I was impressed with the professionalism and the time spent with me to go over my case. The x rays were different from others I’ve had, offering a better view. The doctor went over them with me and listed my treatment options along with his recommendations based on clinical studies. It was refreshing not to be crammed into a waiting room and herded through an exam. Thank you!
There was a delay getting to the exam room, but Dr. Dierckman was fast. He clearly explained the causes of my symptoms and offered relief.
