Brittany received her bachelor's degree from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia, in 2014. After which, she moved to Las Vegas and worked as a registered nurse in multiple areas, long term care, hospice, rehabilitation, medical surgical, and orthopedics. Most of her career was spent as a nursing supervisor or assistant director. During her time as a nurse, Brittany returned back to school to obtain her master's degree in nursing at Chamberlain College of Nursing, where she completed her course with a specialty focus in Family medicine in 2019. In 2020, Brittany began working as an FNP in an urgent/family care setting, where she continued to grow and redevelop her love for primary care and wellness. Brittany also worked in internal medicine in rehabilitation facilities.
Brittany underwent training with the National Academy of sports medicine to be certified as a nutrition coach and with SAMHSA for addiction/substance abuse and certification in suboxone administration and management. Brittany is also experienced with hormone replacement therapy and transgender therapy. Brittany believes in a combination of western medicine as well as holistic. Brittany teaches lifestyle modification to optimize patient outcomes and reduce complications related to the adverse effects of medication. Brittany prefers to place the patient at the center of their care and work with them individually with concern for the patient as a whole.
